Loti Wellness Box Review April 2021

You should always make yourself your priority. We tend to forget how important it is that we feel good in our body and mind so we can take care of others and be more energized and happier. If you need help to get back on track on your self-care journey or keep your habits, Loti Wellness Box is the box you need.

Loti Wellness Box is a Canadian subscription box that offers practical skills and products to reduce stress and anxiety and improve your overall wellbeing. You will find in your box 5 to 8 quality wellness and lifestyle products to remind you to take the time for self-care in all different aspects of your life. Coming along, there is a workbook filled with therapeutic activities and guided materials related to the month’s theme.

Depending on your preference, you can receive a box every month or bi-monthly. The cost per box is $49.95 + $5.99 for shipping for Canadian and $8.99 to the contiguous US (the prices shown are in Canadian dollars). Most boxes are worth over $100. If you get hooked like I am, I recommend the prepaid options (3, 6 or 12-month).

This month’s theme is “Flourish”. On the workbook cover, it says: “Nourish your ability to learn, grow and overcome obstacles in order to flourish”. Loti’s workbook and items help to do just that every month. Loti Wellness kindly sent me this box for review, and I am pleased to share my thoughts with you on the items and the mini-workbook I received.

Blueberry Bliss Sugar Scrub – Indigena

I have tried sugar scrub for the lips before, but I think it is the first time I have seen one for the face. No complaints here as I like this type of scrub and this one smells nice. It is made of a few natural ingredients that should not bother sensitive skins, but you should let the sugar melt with warm water before applying for a not too intense scrub. It leaves the skin extra smooth. Love it!

Brightening Face Serum – Way of Will (WW)

Thanks to Loti Wellness Box, I have discovered this company and now have tried four of their products and liked them all. WW is aligned with my philosophy and prone all natural, chemicals free products. This specific serum as vitamin A and C that respectively helps protect against UV damage and brighten your skin and get dark spots lighter. It looks promising, but the smell is a little bit odd. Maybe a drop of essential oil could help. I will give it a try and see if the scent lingers or dissipates after a few minutes.

Organic Elderberry Hibiscus Pyramid Tea – Genuine Tea

“Grown in the Nile Delta in Northern Egypt, hibiscus flowers have been consumed as a tea for millennia. Hibiscus steeps a deep red hue and has a sweet refreshing taste. Elderberries are said to fortify the immune system and are often taken as a supplement. Our Organic Elderberry Hibiscus tea is delicious hot or shaken over ice with a slice of lemon.”

I have not tried this infusion yet, but I can most certainly recommend Genuine Tea. It is a Canadian based company that creates delicious infusions and teas and this blend looks as good as the others I tried. The dried current must add some sweetness and it must be very refreshing when iced. Summer cannot come fast enough so that I can sip such a tea on my patio.

Self-Care Journal – The Making of a Strong Woman

This journal is called “The Making of a Strong Woman”, but it is also titled “A Journal of Discovery” and it gives me that feeling. Through the pages, you discover and rediscover yourself through personal questions. The first questions are simple and not intimidating like where you were born and if you have siblings, but as you turn the pages and advance in your journey, the questions ask for more introspection and need a little more thinking. I think I will enjoy that journal a lot. Personally, I need a guiding hand for journaling, and this type of journal looks like exactly what I need.

Fizzy Cubes – Bath Bomb co.

These are nice for an added aromatherapy experience in the bath or shower. I received the ones with a lemongrass scent, and it has an energizing effect. Perfect for a morning shower. For those who have kids, it can also become a little something special to give your kid for bath time. Bath bombs do not usually come in this size and that makes them special. I hope they will break in even pieces when I will pluck them out of the package.

Flourish Mini-Workbook

There was a lot of new information in this month’s mini workbook, but all the information is worthy and interesting. It brings reflection upfront to realize what you are doing for yourself and what you would need to flourish. Could it be to set an alarm to remind you to go to bed so you can get enough sleep, or a reminder that you are worth it, and should talk kindly to yourself. There is also a detailed way to try journaling and two nice mindful coloring pages at the end of the workbook which are a nice idea.

Loti Wellness Box April 2021 Review – Final Thoughts

I have a crush on the interesting self-care journal. That must be because I need some introspection time or something like that, but that item really called to me in this month’s Loti Wellness Box. Adding a box of tea is well thought out since a refreshment to accompany the writing is always welcome. It will be perfect for a hammock session this Summer. I am a bit sad the face serum smell is not that great, but the benefits might be worth it, and the bath bombs and sugar scrub will quickly be added to my shower products. I know I will use everything in the box, and that is why I like Loti Wellness Box so much. You do not get a mountain of products, you get 5 to 6 quality products that you will use and will like. Loti Wellness Box is a must have!
