Loti Wellness Box Review February 2021

Loti Wellness Box is a Canadian subscription box that offers practical skills and products to reduce stress and anxiety and improve your overall wellbeing. You will find in your box 5 to 8 quality wellness and lifestyle products to remind you to take the time for self-care in all different aspects of your life. Coming along, there is a workbook filled with therapeutic activities and guided materials related to the month’s theme.

Depending on your preference, you can receive a Loti Wellness Box every month or bi-monthly. The cost per box is $49.95 + $5.99 for shipping for Canadian and $8.99 to the contiguous US (the prices shown are in Canadian dollars). Every box has a retail value of approximately $85 or more, so it is totally worth it. If you get hooked like I am, you should go for one of the prepaid options (3, 6 or 12-month).

This month’s Loti Wellness Box theme is “Loving Kindness”, and I am very excited about this box because I saw a few brands that I like a lot and cannot wait to try new products from them. With the 5 items (+ a bonus one) that are worth over $100, I also received a workbook related to the theme that focuses on self-compassion which is so important. Loti Wellness kindly sent me this box for review, and I am pleased to share my thoughts on the carefully chosen items and the workbook I received.

Oat Bath – Satya

This oat bath is particularly useful if you have eczema to bring some relief to your itchy skin. It must leave the skin extra soft after a good soak. I will gladly test this one as I tend to have some eczema on my hands and the reviews are very positive. Satya’s shop also has a cream in different formats to help with skin problems. Might try that one too.

Pedicure Foot Peeling Mask – Grace & Stella

I loved the anti wrinkle & energizing eye masks from Grace & Stella that I discovered in the December box, so I am excited to try this one-of-a-kind product. Foot mask is not something I have seen before, but I am very intrigued by it. It looks like a good reason to sit and relax with a book for an hour while the special booties do all the work of exfoliating my feet. The exfoliation process is supposed to happen in the next 6 to 10 days.

Strengthening Nail & Cuticle Serum – Way of Will

“This nourishing serum is infused with an essential oil blend that moisturizes skin, protects cuticles from dryness and damage, and strengthens brittle nails to prevent chipping and breakage. Meadowfoam oil, and vitamin E are rich in antioxidants and emollients that hydrate and soften the skin around nails and helps to prevent inflammation. With regular use, nails will grow faster and stronger with a healthy-looking sheen.”

Way of Will is another brand I had the pleasure to discover with Loti’s boxes and that I am happy to see again. I discovered this Canadian company in 2020 and was immediately hooked. I use their face toner and lip balm daily and love them. The strengthening nail and cuticle serum is a product that should be used daily for better results. The bottle seems small, but only one drop of serum is needed to cover your ten nails, so it should last for a while.

Crème Rose – Céla

“Deliciously aromatic with notes of sweet jasmine, peach and rosewater, and enriched with Canadian botanicals, cupuaçu butter and Abyssinian oil, this velvety body cream hydrates and softens skin.”

This cream smells lovely, but the scent is a bit strong, so it might not be for those who prefer subtle scent or unscented products. I personally like it and gave it a try on my very dry hands, and it did wonders. Another cream from Céla’s that is a new favourite.

Sugar Free Chocolate Toffee – Sweetsmith Candy Co

This looks so yummy and it does not contain any sugar. It looks like the perfect treat for a keto or diabetic diet. The sweetness comes from isomalt, a sugar substitute made from beets. A healthy treat is always welcome in any boxes.

Bonus item – Savoury Nut & Seed bite from Good to Go

I knew about the bars from this brand, but this product seems new on the market. There are four different savoury flavors and the one I received is almond and sea salt. It is the first time I see what looks like an energy ball but unsweetened. It makes a healthy protein snack. A little bonus snack to try is always appreciated.

Loving Kindness Workbook

This month’s workbook was all about self-compassion. I learned that self-compassion consists of three elements: mindfulness, self-kindness and a sense of common humanity. There was an exercise on the next page to try to analyze a past event. There were also helpful strategies to overcome self-criticism and a written meditation. The power of words is strong, and I love when a little meditation is suggested.

Loti Wellness Box February 2021 Review – Final Thoughts

I must have said this before, but I find that Loti Wellness Box is such a well-balanced box. They always send healthy self-care products that check all the boxes like this month: a cream, a healthy snack, something to relax, body care products and the workbook to take care of our mental health. A perfect mix! Satya was the only new company I discovered this month. That oat bath looks perfect for a relaxing soak. The other four products I received were from companies I knew (and discovered in previous boxes), but I had never tried those ones. The foot peeling mask from Grace & Stella was the item that intrigued me the most as I had never seen a similar product before. Also, as I finish this review, I am tasting the sea salt chocolate toffee and it is hard to take only a few bites. The February Loti Wellness Box was truly a lovely box.
