Loti Wellness Box Review January 2021

Loti Wellness Box is a Canadian subscription box that offers practical skills and products to reduce stress and anxiety and improve your overall wellbeing. You will find in your box 5 to 8 quality wellness and lifestyle products to remind you to take the time for self-care in all different aspects of your life. Coming along, there is a workbook filled with therapeutic activities and guided materials related to the month’s theme.

Depending on your preference, you can receive a Loti Wellness Box every month or bi-monthly. The cost per box is $49.95 + $5.99 for shipping for Canadian and $8.99 to the contiguous US (the prices shown are in Canadian dollars). Every box has a retail value of approximately $85 or more, so it is totally worth it. If you get hooked like I am, you should go for one of the prepaid options (3, 6 or 12-month).

This month’s Loti Wellness Box theme is “Goal Getter”. With the 6 items that are worth over $110 alone, I also received a workbook related to the theme that explains in detail how to set S.M.A.R.T. goals. Loti Wellness kindly sent me this box for review, and I am pleased to share my thoughts on the carefully chosen items and the workbook I received.

Lemon Superfood Rescue Butter – Dr Botanicals

“Lemon Superfood all-in-one Rescue Butter is a multi-use, high-performance butter which can be used as a moisturizer and treatment. The 96% natural formulation is packed full of minerals, antioxidants and vitamins which work together to rejuvenate, renew and invigorate dull and dry skin.”

A multi-use cream is always welcome. It is the type of moisturizer you keep for extra dry areas like elbows, knees and hands. Packed with good oils like Sea buckthorn and grapeseed oil, vitamins, essential oils and more vegan and natural products, I feel safe to use this product on my sensitive skin.

“I am enough” Sheet Mask & Headband – Skin-Fulness

It is such a nice pair of items. Words are powerful and can be healing so I find the name of the mask “I am enough” and the headband “love always” are a nice touch. But with the symbols on it, I would have called the headband “Infinite love”. The sheet mask is formulated on a Hydro-Cellulose technology, and is packed with healing, hydrating, and antioxidant ingredients. The headband with a Velcro attachment makes a good combo with the mask to ensure your hair will not get messy with the formula.

Restorative Facial Serum – Scentuals

“Experience deep hydration and nourishment with our 100% natural Restorative Facial Serum. Crafted with Rosehip, Grapeseed, and Evening Primrose oils to restore and hydrate the skin, while minimizing signs of aging.”

I have received a few products from Scentuals and always been pleased. The smell is very subtle, delicate and calming. Two or three drops are enough to massage your face and neck so this bottle will last a while. I also like that this serum is vegan, made in Canada and only contains a mix of nourishing oils and no weird ingredients.

A Day and Night Reflection Journal – Insight Editions

This journal is so beautiful and perfect. I fell in love with it the second I laid my eyes on it. If I would have seen it in a store, I would have bought it right away. This journal was made for Loti’s box as it is a reflection journal self-care oriented. You can choose to record your thoughts and feelings throughout the day or once before going to bed as you wish. I started writing in it a few days ago and quickly got into my own routine of writing a little bit as the day goes by. Before going to bed, as the title of the second page suggests, I take time to reflect on my day and write a few more thoughts about my day.

Home & Body Spray – Elle Studio

The mix of lemon of patchouli essential oils in this home and body spray are so uplifting. It can be used in any room, linens, cloth or in your car, but I find this mix perfect for the kitchen. This would be perfect to uplift my mood while I am doing the dishes. I am also going to try it in our winter boots.

Goal Getter Workbook

This month, instead of resolutions, we are talking about goals, and how to achieve them. We learn through the workbook that a statement such as: “I want to get healthier” is not the right way to go. You must be more specific for more chances of success. Loti explains the S.M.A.R.T. method for setting goals so you can formulate your goals in an achievable way. There are also 3 pages at the end to write your S.M.A.R.T. goals and a concrete example.

Loti Wellness Box January 2021 Review – Final Thoughts

I have been reviewing Loti Wellness Box since January 2020 and I can say they have started this new year with a bang! This box was filled with amazing quality products that I will use daily. The journal quickly took a place in my life and starting a new journal at the beginning of a new year feels just right. The home and body spray is on my work desk to wake me up a little in the afternoon and the facial serum is next in line in my skin care routine. The cream and mask are also welcome this month as my skin needs all the hydration it can get with this always too dry air in the house. Finally, this month’s theme and workbook were similar to the “Goal setter” box from January 2020, but I found it interesting to revisit the concept of setting S.M.A.R.T. goals. Like last year, I think Loti Wellness Box will make a great difference in my well-being for the months to come.
