Loti Wellness Box Review June 2022
It is my birthday month, and I just received one of the best birthday gifts! Self-care in a box, I cannot ask for more. As a busy working mother of two, relaxing days just for myself are a rarity. I may not be able to have as long a day for myself, but a box like Loti Wellness Box gives me the tools to take care of myself a little bit everyday, and even do some inner work.
Let me tell you a bit more about Loti Wellness Box… It is a Canadian subscription box that offers practical skills and products to reduce stress and anxiety and improve your overall well-being. With our stressful life nowadays, a self-care box such as Loti Wellness is exactly what we need.
Every box contains 5 to 7 quality wellness and lifestyle products to remind you to take time for self-care. There are even bonuses sometimes. With the products, there is a workbook, created by Loti, filled with therapeutic activities, and information related to the theme.
Subscription Details
Here are the different options to subscribe:
- Month-to-Month – pay one box at a time with no commitment: $55.95 monthly
- 6-Months commitment: Billed monthly at 49.95 per box
- 12-Months commitment: Billed monthly at 47.95 per box
To any of these options, add $8.99 for shipping for Canada and the contiguous US (the prices shown are in Canadian dollars). Most boxes are worth over $100 (this month’s box has a value of $114). If you get hooked like I am, I recommend the 6 or 12-months option since you save up to 15% per box.
Every Loti Wellness Box comes with a brochure detailing the products. There is a lot of information like the websites, prices, and even promo codes for specific items. On top of the brochure, there is also the month’s theme, which is “Revitalize” this month.
*Loti Wellness kindly sent me this box for review.
Hydrating Face Mask from Di Morelli
This hydrating face mask is usually sold in a box of four at $40 a box. I am happy to try one at first to see if my sensitive skin will react to it. It comes from Di Morelli, a Canadian company from Vancouver. With three key ingredients: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and peptides it provides anti-aging effects and a brighter and more radiant complexion. Sheet masks also. I always find it best to stay still and relax so the mask does not slip or move around, so that gives me a good 15 to 20 minutes of relaxation.
Lotion Bar from Soak Bath Co.
The packaging is quite “à la mode”. It is eco-friendly and made only of cardboard that can be recycled after use. I am all in for these new packaging. It is the first appearance of Soak Bath Co. in a Loti Wellness Box, and this first product is promising. I love the short list of ingredients, the natural scent of cocoa butter and how easy it is to use. You simply push at the bottom, so the bar gets out a little, and while maintaining pressure, you apply to desired areas. I found that I did not need (for now) to hold at the bottom while applying, and so far, it did wonder on my legs.
Bath Bomb from Soak Bath Co.
A bath bomb is always welcome in a self-care box. This one from Soak Bath Co. is new to me. They have many different fragrances and the one I received is the sweet orange one. It seems to be wrapped twice, which is an excellent idea has it protects the bath bomb from humidity and during transport, but I cannot smell it. The citrusy smell is not hard to imagine and that will create a vivifying bath. The added coconut and avocado oils are an excellent idea as it adds a moisturizing effect to it. I will gladly soak with that one.
Cutie Oils – Mia
This looks like an excellent product. Hand cream only does not seem to do the trick for my cuticles, so they need a little bit of extra love. The Cutie Oil comes at the right time. The applicator is an excellent idea and makes the process mess free. No oily fingers after application (except for your cuticles of course) so you could apply some at your brake and keep typing on your computer right after. The fragrance is “Mia”, a mix of passionfruit and tangerine with mid notes of pink peony and jasmine. Truly divine! The same oil comes also unscented, and another is scented with vanilla, warm amber, and a hint of sandalwood and blackberry. The oil mix is coconut oil, macadamia oil, meadowfoam oil and jojoba oil. Cutie oils suggest, in case you forgot your usual perfume one day, to dab a little bit of oil on your wrist and/or your neck. It smells so nice I might try it that way too.
Be Witty Simmer Mix from Simmer & Co.
The first time I saw Simmer & Co was in a previous Loti’s box and I thought at first that it was a drinkable infusion, which it is not. It is a mix of dried ingredients that creates the perfect aroma for your home. Here are the easy steps for a great experience: 1- put the mix in a pot, 2- add a few cups of water and bring to a boil 3- enjoy the fragrances. From the smell and the description (citrus fruit and bergamot infused tea leaves), I think I might use that simmer mix for a summer party. It is fun and vibrant and will create a nice vibe for sure.
Compliments Cards from Tiny Acts of Kindness
In the past years, I have seen a few boxes of cards in Loti’s box, and they all had something different, a new theme to explore. The Tiny Acts of Kindness are focusing on compliments. We all know how pleasing it is to receive a compliment, but we sometimes come short when it is our turn to say something other than “I like your dress”. It is still a nice compliment, but as I read the cards, I found many good ideas and some that I already know who I am going to give them to. You can use the cards the way it suits you best. Keep them for yourself, lend them temporarily or give them and tell the person to share it with someone else. I think this packet of cards could create a lot of smiles in my office.
Loti Activity – Revitalize Mini-Workbook
This workbook was all about novelty, what it is, how important it is to seek new experiences in your life. There are four activities that focus on reviewing where you are in the different areas of your life, experiment and reflect on that subject. As soon as I started reading, I started thinking where I situated myself. Am I adventurous enough, could I improve in some areas? Example, I am not afraid to try a new sport and seek new activities but financially, I never seek novelty and stay with what I am comfortable. I will be working on it this month.
Loti Wellness Box June 2022 Review – Final Thoughts
This box gives me a feeling of summer and wellness. The citrus smell of the bath bomb and the Simmer Mix bring mostly that summer vibe and Cutie oils too. That one was a nice surprise as the Mia smell is so nice, it is pleasant to apply, and smell throughout the day. There was a great mix of products, and all were great discoveries for me. I will happily give my kindness cards to people around me so that I can share a bit of that beautiful box.
