Loved + Blessed Box Review March 2017
Loved+Blessed is the box of encouragement. They offer little pink boxes filled with items to encourage Christian women to walk in faith and trust God through the ups and downs of life. They kindly sent us this box for review.
March Theme – Fearless
Who are you afraid of? What do you fear? What if, instead of letting it make you stumble, you used that fear to fuel your faith? Fear is an emotion, which means you can control your reaction to it.
This is our first time reviewing Loved + Blessed. This is a monthly box of encouragement based on the verse, Hebrews 3:13 “Encourage one another daily”. I love the idea of knowing that a bit of encouragement is always on its way! Let’s see what they have encouraged us with this month.
A mini poster for your home or office, a removable and repositionable reminder sticker for your mirror, window or laptop, a scripture card sized to fit in your pocket for encouragement on the go, a portable mini fan and an encouragement kit to pass along to a friend.
I really like the idea of passing along the encouragement. The encouragement kit included a blank card and envelope. You are encouraged to reuse the box if you wish to encourage the next person with a small gift or token.
I also liked the pocket-sized verse. This month’s verse is 2 Timothy 1:6-7 “This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline.”
I thought the mini-fan was kind of cute, but was definitely confused by its placement in the box. I wasn’t a big fan of the literal take on the verse with ‘fanning into flame’. It felt a little cheesy to me.
I really love this note card! The art and colours are beautiful and the quote is very encouraging! This will be going up somewhere where I will see it daily, as this is something I need reminding of all the time!
Loved + Blessed March 2017 – Final Thoughts
I love the idea of an encouragement box. I think the fan was maybe the wrong first impression item. After looking at their website I did like the other items that have been provided in previous boxes. I liked the simplicity of the box, but it’s simplicity also made it feel like you weren’t getting a whole lot. I read on their website that women’s groups use this box at retreats or small groups, which sounds like a super idea! If you’re just looking for a self-spoiling box this might not be it, but if you are looking to receive some excellently sourced encouragement and want to share in passing that along, you’ve struck gold!
