Lovevery is a subscription box designed by experts for your child’s developing brain. Their goal is to help every parent feel confident. Their play products are designed by child development experts and distilled to their simplest, purest purpose: to be exactly what children need at each stage.
Prior to Christmas I realized that baby Steven is no longer a “baby” but an overly active toddler. One who needs more stimulation, learning opportunities and things to keep him occupied. So….I went through all the boxes on our website and picked out 2 for us to subscribe to. One of the boxes I chose is Lovevery as we have received this one in the past and absolutely love it.

The Realist Play Kit – Months 19, 20, 21
Your toddler probably wants to participate in real life situations, routines, and rituals. This Play Kit helps develop their senses and understanding of what things are and how they work.
- Early lessons in counting
- Build concentration, dexterity, and tenacity
- Practice precise hand-eye control
- Explore new sensory experiences
The Lockbox: Tinker with mechanical thinking all on their own—and perfectly portable for problem-solving with little hands.
Steven is going to love this lockbox. He is a very inquisitive little guy and loves to figure out how things work. I think he will have so much fun opening and closing all the little doors. He is also going to love the handle because he likes to pack his toys around the house.
Count & Slide Ring Chute: How many rings go in before one slides down? Engage with this early lesson in counting and one-to-one correspondence.
This next toy will be great for hand/eye coordination and it will also appeal to Steven’s inquisitive side (as I mentioned above).
Geo Shapes Puzzle: A 3D puzzle to practice cradling and nesting complex shapes.
We are slowly getting in to puzzles and shapes and this next toy features both. I love that the shapes stack inside each other, and I also love the colors, which is something else we are currently working on.
‘Bea Gets a Checkup’ Board Book: Going to the doctor can be fun—so long as we’re prepared!
Steven has absolutely LOVED all of the books we have received in our Lovevery boxes. They often end up being his favorites and that says a lot because he has a very large book collection.
Quilted Critter Pockets: Matching and tucking the organic cotton critters takes focus, dexterity, and tenacity.
As a busy Mama, this is the toy that I was drawn to immediately. It will be perfect for travel and I could even hang it on the headrest in front of Steven’s car seat.
Really Real Flashlight: Learn how certain objects can give or control light with a toddler usable flashlight.
I love this kid-friendly flashlight. Little ones often love the toys that mimic real life objects so I’m thinking this will be a favorite.
Grooved Pitcher & Glass: A Montessori classic we’ve perfected—pouring practice helps develop hand and eye control.
Steven absolutely loves playing with water. He could sit in the bath for hours if I let him so this is another toy I very much appreciate. Perfect for highchair play, the bath, or outdoor activities. I think we will use this a lot.
Play Guide for Months 19, 20, 21: Ways to play, expert tips, development information, and at-home activity ideas during months 19, 20, and 21.
Lovevery Review The Realist: 19 to 21 Months
This will be our 6th Lovevery box and I can safely say that we have loved all of them. We still get a lot of use out of the toys from our first few boxes which we received just after Steven was born. I appreciate the research and time that goes in to curating the boxes and creating the toys. I often have friends and family comment on our Lovevery toys because they are amazing quality, unique and SO unlike regular toys that you find at children’s stores. I escpailly love the Lockbox, Quilted Pocket Toy and Puzzle that we received in this month’s box, but with that being said I know that Steven will get use out of all of toys as that has been the case with every box we have received to date.
