Lulu Luv strives to help keep you and your family well. Each box provides you with essential items to maintain wellness through each month’s seasonal aliments. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Lulu Luv is a brand new subscription box. I believe this may even be the very first box they have shipped out. New subscription boxes are exciting, especially when they focus on wellness products.
Inside Lulu Luv’s Boxes you will experience a world of warmth & comfort. Products can range from essential oils to salves, bath salts to cleaners for those sensitive to chemicals, but mainly our products are to help maintain wellness in yourself or loved ones. Lulu Luv is guaranteed to begin your road to easy natural living without breaking the bank!
March Theme – Spring
For the March, April & May boxes Lulu Luv is going to focus on items that may help and soothe seasonal allergies and the common cold. This month we received some of their favourites.
Organic Peppermint Tea
Peppermint tea may help with congestion, inflammation and digestive discomfort.
I am going through a serious tea phase and want ALL my subscription boxes to include it. However, I know that’s not reasonable, so the ones that do include tea secretly get bonus points. Especially peppermint tea. I like to have this after dinner.
Edens Garden Lemon Essential Oil
Cleanses and purifies the air and surfaces. Aids in digestion and supports healthy respiratory function. It’s an uplifting smell that can promote a positive mood and a fabulous oil for using in homemade cleaning products.
I just purchased a new diffuser because I broke my last one, and I’ve had it going every day for the last 2 weeks. I’ve been wanting to add lemon oil to my collection since it purifies the air.
Green & Lovely Hand Soap
Soap has to be my #1 favorite product that comes in every box. It is proven the most effective way to reduce illness and to stay healthy. Unless you are a surgeon regular soap is just as good, if not better than anti-bacterial soap because it won’t dry out your hands. The soaps we choose will be natural, organic or use essential oil for fragrance, not chemicals. Washing hands is a healthy habit, so wash them when you come home from work, school, before meals, after playing outside, before bed, after blowing your nose and more often when you are sick.
Soap may seem like a boring product to some, but to me it is the exact opposite. I LOVE receiving quality soap in my subscription boxes, especially when it is natural and free of nasty ingredients. I will put this one in the guest bathroom.
The Honey Shop Honey
This product is AMAZING! When you feel congested or your cough is driving you crazy take a tablespoon full. I personally take 1 teaspoon and it works for me, but some people may want the full amount. DIRECTIONS: Hold your breath while you swallow your 1 tbsp of breath-ease, after you swallow inhale a deep breath through your mouth and exhale through your nose. You should feel the cooling effect of the mixture. You may repeat every 4 hours.
This little jar of honey would have come in handy about a month ago. The BF and I both had the worst cough, unlike anything I’ve experienced before, it kept us both up at night. I would have LOVED to have had this in the pantry then.
Honeyrun Farm Lip Balm
Lip balm is always appreciated. Sometimes I feel like it is a fun little bonus item. But it still adds value to the box. I received Blackberry Pomegranate & Raspberry.
Lulu Luv Review March 2017 – Final Thoughts
As I mentioned above, this is Lulu Luv’s very first box and I think they did a lovely job. The kind of products we received are the products I get excited about. I refer to them as wellness products because they each have their own health benefits and will allow me to replace “regular” products that I may be using in my house currently. What I like most is the idea behind this subscription box. The products are to help maintain wellness in yourself or loved ones, and this speaks to my heart. Lulu Luv has a strong foundation and the right ideas. I would love to see them organize their product card differently, it’s a little too general, and I think they could work on their packaging as the box was quite large and the items we received could have fit in a smaller box and looked just as nice. I have high hopes for this new box and am really interested to see what the next few months hold.
