Luxor Box Review September 2016

Luxor Box Review September 2016

I have received some pretty amazing products in my Luxor Boxes over the last year. I reviewed my very first box in May of 2015, and since then I have accumulated some favourites: Lisa Stewart Earrings May Box, Pura Botanica Essentials Pouch July Box, Pura Botanica Freshly Minted Body Combo September Box, WeWood Date Watch March Box, and the Mary Jurek Design Mirabel Mini Vase from the May 2016 box…..just to name a few.

Luxor Box Limited Edition Boxes

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Luxor Box, I want to point out that from time to time they offer limited edition boxes. You need to know about this because the LE boxes are AMAZING. I reviewed the Limited Edition Summer Fun box and it was gold! You can check out the review HERE. I loved everything about this box. I use the oil daily, I wear the purse on a regular basis, and I get a lot of use out of the yoga towel and sarong. I highly recommend keeping an eye on their website for the next LE box, and if I find out about one I will definitely give you a heads up. Anyways…..let’s see what we received in the September box…

Roes et Marius eau De Toilette Roll On

Rose et Marius invite you on an exceptional olfactory journey through Provence. Exclusive essences distilled in Grasse, presented in French-madeleather covered or hand cut crystal flasks. 6 fresh and elegant niche fragrances which will immerse you in the atmosphere of Provençal country mansions : “Eau de Mademoiselle Rose” for ladies, in 4 fragrances, and “Eau de Marius”, 2 fragrances for men.

I love seeing perfume in my subscription boxes. It’s something we don’t receive enough of. This one is very light, and fresh, it has a bit of a Spring scent to it. It’s very pretty, and if I don’t end up keeping it for myself it will make a gorgeous Christmas gift.

Halcyon Days Hinged Bangle

The plain solid color and gold enamel hinged bangle measures 10mm wide and is the perfect feminine accessory for any occasion, either as a single item or stacked with other bangles. The timeless, simple design is finished in 18ct gold plate and features the Halcyon Days branding on the inside. It is available in a selection of vibrant and classic colours.

This is my favourite item in the September box. This bangle is valued at $165, and it is gorgeous! I love a good bangle because they stack beautifully with a watch and one other bracelet. I’m also very happy to have received the navy/gold combo. Navy is my favourite color for Fall.

Mottahedeh Heirluminare Petite Round Box Candle

100% natural with no palm oil, producing a clear smoke-free burn. Subscribers received one of four assorted colors/scents of green lace, cobalt blue lace, cornflower lace, or green apple lace.

This is the prettiest little candle holder. I love the gold trim and the delicate blue design. But….I think my candle is broken. Is there such thing as a broken candle? lol. Mine doesn’t really look like a candle, I think something happened to it during the shipping process.

John Beswick Pocket Mirror

John Beswick working with Silhouette d’Art Movseion has created a series of eye-catching and handy pocket mirrors. The metal case features famous artwork. Subscribers received one of four designs – Van Gogh Sunflowers, Van Gogh Irises, Monet Water Lilies, Hokusai Birds/Flowers.

Pocket mirrors are always appreciated. You don’t know how many times I have reached in my purse, or gym bag, or overnight bag looking for a mirror but didn’t have one. The artwork on this one is really pretty, pretty seems to be the theme for the box.

John Beswick Ceramic Vase

A leader of porcelain figurines, John Beswick working with Silhouette d’Art Movseion has created a series of vases featuring famous artists and world-renowned masterpieces. Subscribers received one of three designs.

I saw a couple of spoilers prior to receiving my box, and wasn’t crazy about the other vase designs. I’m really happy I received this one. I want to go buy some fall flowers right now and put this to use.

Luxor Box Review September 2016 – Final Thoughts

I am going to be 100% honest. This isn’t my favourite Luxor Box, but that’s not to say I don’t like it. I still love all the items we received, and the value is amazing, but I think I prefer some of the other boxes to this one……if I am being really picky. With that being said, I am in love with the bracelet, and can’t get over the fact that it is valued at $165. The bracelet alone pays for the box.

I have been reviewing Luxor Box for over a year now, and one thing is for sure, I adore this subscription. I love the high-end products, I love the amazing value, and I love the mixture of lifestyle products. They always include some sort of home decor item and that makes me very happy. If $129 is in your box budget I would definitely recommend Luxor Box……and wth Christmas around the corner I would keep it in mind for gift giving.

XOXO
