I was hoping to get this one up prior to Halloween as their October box has a Halloween theme but it arrived at the end of the month so I wasn’t able to get myself organized in time. But…..better late than never and it will give you a hint as to what they might do for next year’s October box.

Here’s a closer look at the October Medusa’s Makeup box….
Lipstick – Blue Moon ($14)
Color description: Rich and creamy full coverage baby blue.
This bright and beautiful lipstick is a luxurious blend of natural vegan waxes, color rich pigment, creamy, soft and nourishing. Can be applied to lips and face.
How to Use: Starting at the center of your upper lip apply moving outward to each corner. Blot lips.
I’m starting things off with this super fun blue lipstick. It’s absolutely PERFECT for a Halloween themed box and has trying to think of other occasions that I might be able to wear it. It’s just SO fun!
10 Free Chemistry Nail Polish ($18)
This polish is SO pretty and unlike any of the colors I currently own. It’s a great color for Halloween, I picture it with a witch’s costume like they have featured on the product card, but definitely wearable year-round.
Glam Rock Eyeshadow ($14)
Color description: Super glam sparkle with rich pigment. Violet.
Vegan Glam Rock Eyeshadow in a hi-pigment shimmer finish. From neutral hue to extreme color.
How to Use: Apply Stick It! eye primer to get a more dramatic effect or use Eyeliner Seal to create liquid eyeliner. Then apply eyeshadow as usual. Can be applied to eyes, lips & face.
This shadow goes perfectly with the nail polish and completes the witch’s costume. But I’m also a fan of purple eyeshadow for daily wear. It goes perfectly with my brown eyes and fair complexion.
Eyebrow Liner ($18)
Get fluffy, precise & defined eyebrows! Smudge resistant, buildable and long wearing. Cruelty free and vegan.
Color: Medium Brown
This eyebrow liner is considered one of Medusa’s must-have products. They only offer the one color for now but say that more colors are coming. I don’t personally use brow liner but I know someone who will absolutely love this!
Faux Mink Eyelashes ($12)
Lastly we received a set of false eyelashes. These were available in assorted styles and I received “Princess”. This is one of the products that is nice to have on hand for date night, photo shoots, or events.
Medusa’s Makeup Review October 2021 – Final Thoughts
My first experience with Medusa’s Makeup has got me thinking that I should have started sharing this subscription with you sooner. What a great little makeup box! The price point is extremely reasonable, the packaging is pretty, and we received great value. I like that they feature their own products as well as a products from other brands. We received a nice mixture of items and I love that they embraced the October holiday. This is definitely one to keep an eye on.
