Fall Box Details ($95 total value)
“We understand the importance of engaging in nourishing practices to help you obtain an enhanced life experience. We hope that you experience more joy, ease and peace.”
Here’s a look at what’s in the fall Merkaela box:
Box Insert
The Merkaela box insert is always so helpful and informational. In the included envelope is the insert itself which shares the theme, an inspiring quote related to the theme, product names, product usage and information, product pricing, an affirmation and a link to the seasonal meditation. The envelope also includes a card that has the link to the meditation on it as well as a little wallet sized card with the affirmation on it too, which this season is: “I choose to feel good about myself each day. I remind myself that I have a choice to cultivate good habits.”
Tea Tree Handmade Soap ($9.50)
“Formulated to regulate acne and balance oily to combination skin. Containing twelve more times antiseptic power of phenol and strong immune building properties. The herbaceous, earthy aroma stimulates feelings of purity. The natural oils and herbal extracts restore the skin, by providing the perfect hydration.”
I always love the soaps this box sends and appreciate that each box includes one. This soap, being Tea Tree, is more of a treatment soap (since it’s a disinfectant) than an aromatherapy soap, yet it still has a nice pleasant herbal aroma. I think this one would be great for any fussy skin issues like acne or fungal issues, but would also just be a nice all over soap to cleanse skin.
Patchouli Meditation Elixir ($19.00)
“Formulated to reignite creative and sensual energy that can become stagnant due to deficiency of Life Force (Qi) Energy or a weak immune system. The sweet musky scent harmonizes the Earth Element (body) with the intellect (mind) to help you ground when overthinking.”
The elixirs are also always wonderful and if I’m remembering right, most recent boxes have included one too. I’m a patchouli fan so of course I like this one. It’s made with a blend of essential oils that includes patchouli so it’s actually not as patchouli heavy as the name might suggest. I think even non-patchouli lovers would even enjoy it’s grounding and earthy scent.
Purity Salt Bath ($12.00)
“A heavenly salt bath dedicated to relieve body pain along with herbal botanicals. Experience a peaceful sensation intended to elevate your mood and alleviate muscle aches. The mineral-rich nutrients such as magnesium, calcium, and iron, combine to make a natural detoxifier. While it aligns the energy centers. Relax as you melt the stress away, conquer aching muscles, and soothe the skin.”
For some reason this product seems familiar to me, so maybe it’s come in a previous box? I’d have to look back, but regardless it’s a lovely product. It smells so crisp and refreshing, very uplifting. It says it’s made with birch essential oil, but all I can smell is a spearmint-like aroma. I guess I don’t really know what birch smells like, maybe similar to peppermint? Anyway, this would be perfect for a cozy winter bath time.
Sunset Herbal Tea ($8.50)
“Herbal teas with Egyptian Chamomile flowers are known for their ability to relax the body and settle the stomach, the Sunset Herbal is no exception! With its reddish infusion and seductive aroma accentuated with delicious honeybush and red hibiscus flower petals. The Sunset Herbal offers a floral cup of tea that tastes wonderful!”
This tea smells (and looks!) so inviting! I immediately get rich honey vibes with chamomile and floral undertones. I like that this one isn’t just a beautiful sounding drink either and that it has relaxing abilities for the body and stomach. I’m so glad it’s an herbal tea too since I’m not a caffeine drinker. I’m excited to brew up a cup and see if it’s taste matches the aroma profile.
Sacred Black Sage ($6.00)
“Black Sage is known for its unique quality to encourage vision and vivid dreams, used for inner healing and introspection. Use to enhance your meditation practice or before bedtime to aid with a deep, restful sleep throughout the night and encourage pleasant dreams.”
Sage is always a nice self-healing tool to find in a self-care box. I feel like I received it several times from this box, which isn’t a bad thing, I just haven’t used up all the rest of my stash yet so it’s not as thrilling as some of the other items.
Selenite Wand ($10.00)
“It provides clarity of the mind, positive energy flow, and enhances self-awareness. This crystal is extremely useful in meditation as it increases intuition and keeps the mind clear from any mental distractions. Allowing you to have a smooth and peaceful meditation.”
This is a really beautiful stone and I believe it’s wand shape can be good for facial massage bringing along even further clarity through relaxation (I could be making that up, but I think that could be a good use). The shape is interesting regardless, and will be a useful tool in my crystal collection.
Nourishing Body Butter Lavender ($30.00)
“Beneficial to all skin types, deep healing on dry cracked skin. The Nourishing body butter provides skin deep hydration and new cell growth. Apply to the body to improve problematic skin and promote cell repair. Use the Nourishing body butter on dry skin, stretch marks, blemishes, cellulite, mild burns, eczema flare-ups, sunburn, rashes, bruises, insect bites and to keep skin infections at bay. The Calendula licorice herbal extract-infused oils such as Shea & Jojoba, will further deepen your botanical experience. Providing the body with hydrating nourishment and essential nutrients it craves at the deepest levels.”
This body butter, like all their body butters, smells so amazing! It’s labeled as lavender and definitely has lavender aromas, but is also blended with some other scents that soften and warm it up. It’s really so cozy and nice. This texture on this one is more whipped-like and melts right into skin. I really like this one and will be using if for any dry winter skin!
Merkaela Deluxe Box Review Fall 2021 – Final Thoughts
I truly enjoy my Merkaela Box deliveries and this one is no exception! From the chic and eco-friendly packaging to the variety of items and their intriguing and captivating aromas, this one always brings instant ease and feelings of calm relaxation. Then of course the use of the products continues that beyond the un-boxing. I really love the Lavender Body Butter, the Patchouli Meditation Elixir and the Sunset Tea from this month’s box, but everything is delightful and will be used. I can’t wait to see what their winter box has in store when it comes out, but these fall inspired goods will certainly take care of me until then.
