ModaBox is, simply put, the Birchbox meets Netflix for women’s clothing and accessories. ModaBox combines fashion and technology to transform women’s homes into the ultimate fitting room. They kindly sent us this box for review.
We got to review ModaBox for the very first time back in March. It was a really fun experience because I happen to love styling services. The mall is not my friend. I spend as little time there as humanly possible. I love the idea of someone else picking out my outfits for me and being able to try them on in the comfort of my own home. My March box contained an outfit that I absolutely LOVED. It was a great pair of skinny jeans, a loose-fitting top and a cardigan for layering. I wear that outfit on a regular basis.

Here’s a look at the outfits I received in my August Box….
Outfit #1
- Ronni Striped Dress ($68)
- Calvin Klein Lace Tee ($49.50)
First up we have a great little summer dress with a lace tee. Wear them together or on their own. I tied a knot in the back of the tee just to give the outfit a little more definition. It is super comfy and looks great with cognac sandals. Both items fit me perfectly.
Outfit #2
- Tart Maxi Skirt ($68)
- Thyme Navy Detailed Top ($48)
- Imadeline Kimono ($68)
My second outfit is made up of three items, a maxi, a loose-fitting top and a kimono. This is a really great outfit to take me from Summer to Fall, thanks to the layers. I tied a knot in this top (just like I did with the first outfit) to add some definition to my waist. Add a simple pair of sandals and you are good to go. I would also wear the top and kimono with a pair of skinny jeans, which actually might look a bit better as the fitted style of the jeans would make up for the oversized style of the tops……..it’s all about balance 🙂
ModaBox Review August 2017 – Final Thoughts
I’m starting to get a good feel for ModaBox and what they have to offer now that I have reviewed two boxes. I like the style of clothing they include, as well as the quality of the pieces and the reasonable price point. It was nice to see some familiar brands as well as some new brands. There was definitely a cohesive feel to the box this month thanks to all the shades of blue. I could probably mix and match a couple of the items if I really wanted to. I like that every piece was under $68 as that is a price point I am more than comfortable with when it comes to my clothing budget. This month’s box was a really great learning experience for myself and my stylist. If you are thinking about giving ModaBox a try make sure you spend time on your style profile and be as specific as possible, unless you are ok with trying out new styles, in that case just let your stylist do all the work and have fun with the outfits they pick out for you. If you are like me and prefer to stay away from the mall then you definitely need to give ModaBox a try!
