Mommy Mailbox Review February 2017
Mommy Mailbox is a monthly gift that uplifts and rewards motherhood. Each box is curated by a different guest blogger, who shares a piece of her style with you by including her favorite goodies. Items are a mix of fashion, gourmet food, fitness, art, home décor and beauty. They kindly sent us this box for review.
I started reviewing Mommy Mailbox in November and am so happy to have discovered this little gem of a box. I find it a joy to unbox. It’s not too much, it’s not too little, it’s full of pretty things, and the price point is reasonable. It has the word “Mommy” in the box name, but it’s perfect for any Woman. Pretty and fun is the best way to describe it.
February Theme – Romance
The theme for the February Mommy Mailbox is Romance and the guest blogger is Elena Sanchez. She is known for her romantic style in her artistic creations and her beautiful photography. She has filled the February Box with love in the form of chocolate, cupcakes, date night essentials and the perfect locket picture frame to help keep your loved ones near.
Bath Bomb – Feeling Smitten
The Sweet Heart Cupcake Bath Bomb features a fizzy epsom salt base for soaking and a handmade sugar scrub icing topper.
This is the cutest little bath bomb ever! And I love that it is a bath bomb on the bottom and a scrub on the top. I have a weakness for multi-tasking products.
Whole Body Balm – Jersey Shore Cosmetics
An organic wonder stick – it does everything! Moisturize face, lips, hands, eyes, elbows, feet, cuticles and more! Even smoothes hair flyways, and it’s all natural.
I have received this in a few boxes over the Winter months, and at first I wasn’t too excited to see it in yet another box. But then I thought about it. Seeing as it does everything, it’s probably a good idea to have a couple of them. I feel like it is the perfect product to keep in my purse. So that’s where it is.
Lip & Cheek Rouge – Jersey Shore Cosmetics
Formulated using all natural ingredients. Valentine’s Day is the perfect day for a bold lip – even if it’s just for you.
It’s lip balm, it’s red, and it does double duty. I love it. Enough said.
Choco Treat – Crave Artisan Chocolate
A choco dipped graham cookie, with a gorgeous damask design. It almost looks too pretty to eat. Almost.
I love that most of my subscription boxes are including some sort of little chocolate treat this month. I’m spending V-day by myself since the BF will be away at work. So I plan on saving all these gorgeous little chocolates for that night – Netflix, chocolate and wine!
Picture Frame – Isaac Jacobs International
This sweet little brass locket frame is the perfect way to preserve your memories.
I have to be honest, I’m not really loving this picture frame. It’s very cute, but very tiny. I just don’t see myself using it. I was almost a little sad that we received this instead of jewelry this month, but at the same time I think it’s nice that they mixed it up with a different product. Me not liking this frame is strictly a personal preference. Some subscribers are going to fall in love with it.
Mommy Mailbox Review February 2017 – Final Thoughts
This month’s Mommy Mailbox is super cute, but it’s not my favourite. I definitely prefer the boxes that include jewelry, but they probably don’t want to do the same items every month so I completely understand why they went with a home decor item instead. And let’s get real for a moment….I have LOVED all the other boxes I have received from them, so they have a pretty good batting average. If we look at this month’s box as a whole, it has a good product mixture and good value, so I really can’t complain. I think Mommy Mailbox is super cute and would definitely recommend it.
