My Meraki Box Review July 2017
My Meraki Box features new exclusive designs, only available to My Meraki Box subscribers. Each month will feature 2-3 brand new Wristicuffs designs, exclusive to My Meraki Box. Every box will contain jewelry pieces handcrafted in their studio with a minimum $100 retail value. They kindly sent us this box for review.
I rave about My Meraki Box every month. I have been a huge fan of this subscription from the beginning. I love everything about it from the packaging, to the monthly themes, to the price point, and everything in between. It’s a jewelry subscription box that should definitely be on your radar……if it’s not already.
July Theme – The Basics collection
We wanted to put together a bracelet collection of strong, basic pieces that are easy to mix and match. Inspired by neutral color palettes, this collection includes a variety of bracelets that can be worn on their own or paired with existing pieces. Now creating the perfect bracelet stack is easier than ever!
Eeek!! I love this month’s theme! If you read the blog on a regular basis you have probably heard me talk about my current style preferences, probably on more than one occasion. I am going through a serious casual phase, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I love neutral colours, simple styles, and basic fashion. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that this month’s My Meraki Box theme is speaking to my heart. Basics are the foundation of every jewelry collection. I’m already excited!
Marnie ($69.99)
Created using etched European leather, this half and half bracelet features a magnetic clasp in a brushed sterling silver finish.
Absolutely loving this design. It’s simple and basic, yet trendy and makes a statement at the same time. As per usual, it fits my tiny wrists perfectly. The magnetic clasp makes it easy to take on and off, without the need for a second pair of hands. It’s a sturdy piece that will go with a number of different bracelets currently in my collection.
Acacia ($59.99)
Using a mix of opalite and matte black onyx, this beaded bracelet set is finished with a sterling silver arrow charm.
Basic and unique. Is that even a thing? The opalite beads are unlike anything I currently have in my collection. I love that this set can be worn together, on their own, or with other bracelets in your collection.
Lantana ($34.99)
Accented with a carved tridacna bead, this beaded bracelet is a mix of white turquoise and grey lava with sterling silver accent beads. Lava can also be used for essential oils.
Love, love, love this bracelet!! I think it is so beautiful. I also happen to love the color combo, and the fact that it is made with lava beads. I’m a huge fan of lava beads because I’m also a huge fan of essential oils and the two go hand-in-hand. You simply add a couple drops of your favourite essential oil to the beads and the scent is slowly released throughout the day.
Vervain ($34.99)
This stretch beaded bracelet is made with matte coffee agate and riverstone featuring sterling silver accents.
This is where it gets interesting. Typically, when it comes to jewelry, my least favourite color is brown. But…..I fell in love with this bracelet as soon as I took it out of the package. The coffee agate beads are so fun, and they pair perfectly with the cream beads and silver accent. I’m tempted to say this is my favourite of the bunch.
Bonus Item
We appreciate you joining us for our July Box. As a token of our thanks, we hope you enjoy our bonus item this month, a triple strand brass anklet with colourful tassel accent. These are perfect to add a little punch of fun into your Summer wardrobe.
Ok, just when I thought the box couldn’t get any better, they go ahead and include the perfect Summer accessory. I can’t remember the last time I received an anklet in one of my jewelry boxes. I forgot how much I love a pretty anklet, and this one is pretty! Gold is my preference when it comes to jewelry and I am a sucker for tassels. I have it on my ankle as we speak and it is SO cute!
My Meraki Box Review July 2017 – Final Thoughts
What a great box! The July My Meraki Box just might be my favourite thus far. The grey lava beads, coffee agate beads, and bonus anklet did it for me this month. And did you check out the retail value of each piece!? We definitely get more than we pay for when it comes to this fun little jewelry subscription. My bracelet collection has never been better. Not only do I finally have bracelets that fit me, but I also have a collection of unique pieces you won’t find at the mall. My Meraki Box is definitely worth checking out!
