Since my last review it appears as though Namaslay Box has made some changes to their subscription offering…..

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the July box….

Yoga Girl by Rachel Brathen ($19.95)

Whether she’s practicing handstands on her stand-up paddleboard or teaching Downward-Facing Dog to the masses, Rachel Brathen—Instagram’s @Yoga_Girl—has made it her mission to share inspirational messages with people from all corners of the world. In Yoga Girl, Brathen takes readers beyond her Instagram feed and shares her journey like never before—from her self-destructive teenage years in her hometown in Sweden to her adventures in the jungles of Costa Rica, and finally to the beautiful and bohemian life she’s built through yoga and meditation in Aruba today.

Featuring spectacular photos of Brathen practicing yoga with breathtaking tropical backdrops, along with step-by-step yoga sequences and simple recipes for a healthy, happy, and fearless lifestyle—Yoga Girl is like an armchair vacation to a Caribbean spa.

This is actually very cool. At first I wasn’t overly excited about it and then I realized, I’ve been wanting to start practicing yoga again and this is the perfect way to get my butt in gear. I have no clue why I wasn’t more excited about this the moment I saw it in the box! This is the PERFECT book for me.

Hair Tie and Headband by TopKnotChicago ($5)

Made from soft smooth elastic that is not only great at keeping your hair up but is also gentle on your hair.

If you don’t use these hair elastics, what are you waiting for?! These are my favourite! I am always happy to see them in my subscription boxes. These are the only elastics I will use in my hair. They don’t leave a crease and are gentle on my hair. Love these!

Good Morning Sun Aromatherapy Spray by HumbleLove ($12)

‘Good Morning, Sun’ is specifically designed to help motivate and wake you up during those times when pulling the covers back over your head and disappearing for another few hours…or days…or weeks…sounds a bit more appealing. Whenever you need a pick-me-up, simply spray the air around you, as well as your clothes, your towel, your office desk, your car or co-worker. For best results, take three deep breaths and remind yourself of Isaiah 40:31.

I never use to like aromatherapy spray but now I use it all the time. I love the little boost it gives me mid-day or in the morning.

Good Night Moon Salve by HumbleLove ($12)

Specifically designed to help you calm your mind and relax the tension brought on by everyday life.

Made with organic coconut oil, organic sunflower oil, organic olive oil and organic Shea butter, as well as the essential oils of lavender, frankincense, and geranium, this is a great daily bedtime moisturizer to sooth your skin and mind.

Bedtime moisturizer is a great idea! I often apply lotion on my hands and feet right before bed. I like that this one will calm and relax my mind.

Organic Culinary Grade Matcha by Meet Matcha ($21)

Made entirely out of stone ground organic green tea leaves. We source our matcha from lush green hills of Uji region from Kyoto, Japan which is certified organic and packed with nutrients, antioxidants upto 10 x times the nutritional content that of green tea.  Meet Matcha is made by first harvest leaves in May.Our premium grade matcha is perfect to add to lattes, cold drinks or drink it just on its own.

Here’s a recipe for Matcha Chia Pudding – CLICK HERE

I love matcha tea and I love that I can now make it at home. I linked a recipe above. I found it on the Meet Matcha website and think it sounds wonderful. I will definitely make matcha pudding and will also make cashew milk matcha lattes.

Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Bar BY Kind Bars ($1.50)

Just the name of this bar has us drooling. Smooth caramel, rich dark chocolate, loads of nuts and a sprinkle of Brazilian sea salt will have you savoring every bite. And with 5 grams of sugar, it only seems indulgent.

I’m pretty sure most everyone has tried Kind Bars before, but for the odd person out there who hasn’t tried them…..you must. I love these bars. They have a few different flavours to choose from, and this one in particular only has 5 grams of sugar!

Namaslay Box Review July 2017 – Final Thoughts

Namaslay Box did a wonderful job this month. I think this just might be my favourite box thus far. I am really happy that they included a book. The more I look through it, the more excited a become. There’s some really great information inside. In addition to that we received a really great mixture of products – hair accessories, bath & body products, tea and a snack. I would be extremely happy if we saw a product mixture like this in every box. This month’s box has put Namaslay at the top of my Canadian Subscription Box list!

XOXO
