**Nature’s Wellness Box kindly sent me this beautiful box for review**
I was so excited to review Nature’s Wellness Box as I have seen great reviews of it since it started earlier this year. Natural, non-toxic and cruelty-free items are my jam – I refuse to use products filled with hard-to-pronounce chemicals as they have an adverse effect on my health.
I love Nature’s Wellness Box colours and the printed tissue paper that wraps the products. It is high-quality and has a beautiful pattern of coloured leaves with plumeria flowers. According to Nature’s Wellness Box website, “In the Hawaiian culture, the plumeria symbolizes positivity and new beginnings.” It is their hope that their Nature’s Wellness Box subscription will bring positivity into your home and life.
The theme for November’s Nature’s Wellness Box is all about self-care through Practising Hygge.
“Hygge (pronounced hue-guh) Is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cozy, charming or special… Hygge is about an atmosphere and an experience, rather than about things. It is about being with the people we love. A feeling of home. A feeling that we are safe, that we are shielded from the world and allow ourselves to let our guard down… And while we may be isolated from those we love and care about, it is now more than ever important to focus on those little daily joys to keep your mood up while staying calm and find those things that will help you find hygge at home. As much as it is important to keep physically healthy, our mental health is also very important to take care of in these types of situations.”
The Nature’s Wellness Box product card shows photos and details about the products, including price and ingredients.
Moroccan Magic Sleep Face Wash ($26)
“Relaxing Lavender and Argan Oil sweep away the day’s dirt and stress with our calming Lavender Essential Oil and nourishing Argan Oil sleep face wash. Our face wash was formulated using bamboo stem extract and pro-vitamin B5 to create radiant-looking skin. Enjoy the combination of a clean face and relaxing aromatherapy without the harmful ingredients!”
This Moroccan magic sleep face wash smells incredible and immediately put me at ease with my first sniff! It was gentle on my skin and was a nice treat to use before bed.
BKIND Konjac Sponge ($10)
“This 100% natural and biodegradable sponge is made from Konjac root fibers. Its irregular texture makes it a perfect smooth sponge that exfoliates very gently and is perfect for the most sensitive skins. Konjac facial sponge infused with bamboo charcoal cleans your face in a single step without soap! Because the Konjac sponge is a cleanser itself, you can now reduce the use of plastic bottles!”
This BKIND Konjac Sponge is infused with charcoal which is effective in clearing clogged pores. What most excites me is that once it is worn out I can throw it into the compost bin instead of it making its way into a landfill.
TRU EARTH Eco Strips – Laundry Detergent ($19.99)
“Each laundry strip packs ultra-concentrated, hypoallergenic, eco-friendly cleaning power into a tiny, pre-measured strip of detergent that you just toss in the wash. Its low-sudsing formula works in all types of washing machines, including high-efficiency (HE).”
These strips are very easy to use and are much less hassle than using liquid detergent. They don’t leave much of a scent on clothes but my clothes are still left smelling clean. I trust that these strips are doing some good for the planet – even if I must sacrifice “nice” smelling laundry. I am so happy I got to try these out and would highly recommend them.
Fashion Boutique Wool Cozy Socks ($9)
“The softest wool socks we found – and unlike many others, these can go right into the washer and dryer.”
I’m not a big fan of socks and this pattern is not for me. However, these will be good to use in the thick of winter when my house is cold.
Nature’s Sweet Orange Oil ($12.50)
“With its versatility and wonderfully uplifting Citrus Aroma, sweet orange oil is one of the most popular essential oils with aromatherapy. Adding a few drops of this sweet orange essential oil to your personal care products, home care products and cleaning products will take them to the next level.”
I absolutely love citrus scents and you can tell this oil is high-quality. I personally like to diffuse orange essential oil when I need to focus or to be uplifted. Perfect for uncertain times like this during a pandemic.
Honibe Immune Boost Lozenges with Zinc ($6)
“Honibe combines real honey with Echinacea, zinc and vitamin C for an immune boost.”
These lozenges are Canadian-made and contain only five ingredients. They are nice to suck on when I am feeling peckish or looking for a mint.
November’s Nature’s Wellness Box was filled with six products for a total value of approximately $83. Thanks to Nature’s Wellness Box, I was introduced to new brands and products that I will incorporate into my daily routine while practising hygge. If Nature’s Wellness Box is calling to you, you can subscribe for a month to month subscription or bi-monthly or every three months, for only $44.99 CAN per month.
