NoMakeNoLife Review February 2017
NoMakeNoLife is a subscription-based service that delivers you a box full of unique japanese beauty products from Tokyo straight to your doorstep. Their aim is to introduce Japanese culture via beauty products that not only look good but make you feel good. They kindly sent us this box for review.
NoMakeNoLife is a brand new beauty subscription box. They officially hit the market last month and they are already very popular. This little box has been all over the Asian Beauty Forums, making the February box highly anticipated. We couldn’t wait for this little black box to arrive.
Subscription Details
It doesn’t look like NMNL has monthly themes, but they do release spoilers each month, of which we will try to post on a regular basis. When you sign up for a subscription you can choose a monthly recurring plan, 3-month, 6-month or 12-month. Here’s a look at the items in their debut box…..
Sailor Moon False Eyelashes
Channel your inner guardian with these pretty false lashes. The lashes come with a cute storing case which can be used as a pill case to store small accessories. Blue, green, red & yellow – did you get the color you wished for?
These little gems are WAY better in person! When I saw the spoiler I was worried they would be too much, but they aren’t at all. They have just the right amount of color to give them that Sailor Moon vibe without being over the top. And the carrying case is super cute!
Dolly Wink Eyelash Glue
Made by one of Japan’s most popular “gyaru” models, this is an essential item to go with your new Sailor Moon false lashes. Made in Japan, dolly wink eyelash glue will help keep your lashes in place all day. The sweat proof, waterproof and tear proof glue is made extra durable but gentle on your skin.
I’m so happy they included this item. It would be so sad to receive the lashes and nothing to apply them. I give them bonus points for thinking of the eyelash glue.
Hello Kitty Sakura Facial Masks
Pamper yourself with these Hello Kitty facial masks. This 8-pack of masks contains sakura extract, tea extract and hyaluronic acid to help moisturize your skin. Masks come in a resealable bag in order to maintain freshness.
No Asian Beauty Box would be complete without some sort of Hello Kitty product. I love that this item is cute and functional. It includes some really great ingredients.
Sakura Facial Bar Soap
Sakura leaf extract is said to help with skin troubles and prevent dryness. Fill your heart with warmth and wash your daily worries away with this luxurious and fragrant soap.
Soap isn’t the most exciting product to receive in a beauty box, but in this case I think it is kind of perfect. It balances things out, in my opinion. And it is pink, and it is cute, and it is pretty.
Zawachin x Noyl Eyeshadow Palette
Zawachin, a popular Japanese TV personality, who’s made a name for herself by impersonating celebrity looks has collaborated with Noyl to create a line of eyeshadows that can be used to make a variety of looks, from everyday to glamorous. Each palette comes with 12 beautiful colours that can be used individually or layered to create a natural graduation.
I am SO impressed with these colours! Oh my goodness, I actually really love the palette I received. There were 4 different options, and I like this one the most. The browns and the purples are colours I wear on a daily basis. I didn’t expect to be this excited about any of the items in the box……but I am!
Puchi Animal Hand Cream
Bring this cute, fragranced hand cream with you wherever you go. This hand cream will leave your hands not only moisturized but also smelling sweet. Encased in a convenient silicon carry-case, the hand cream comes in 3 different designs and fragrances – soap, rose and honey.
This is the CUTEST little hand cream! Normally I’m not a fan of cutesy things, but this is so cute I can’t help but love it.
