The items in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box are feeling like summer to me. Not only do they look summery but they will help enhance your summer glow. They can all work together to enhance that natural, no makeup, sunkissed look that the season brings. From an oil for bright and glowing skin, to dewy lips and lush lashes – this month’s box has got your summer skin covered.

Here’s a look at what was in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box ($106.99 Total Value):

Nourish Naturals Safflower Shimmer in “Pagoda” ($16)

An illuminating gloss infused with crystalline particles in a healthy, vegan base of safflower, sunflower and jojoba oils.

This is an ultra shimmery lip gloss that’s lightweight and hydrating for lips. It looks really bright pink in the packaging but when applied to lips it’s a more subtle pink. There is a lot of shimmer but it isn’t overpowering on lips, it’s more of an enhanced gloss look. It has a pretty heavy scent that smells like berry with a hint of bubblegum. I’m usually pretty neutral with my lips so I’m not sure how much I’ll use this but it could be nice to use a little as a gloss over some lipstick to glam up your look.

Seraphine Botanicals Cherry Rose + Nectar Replenishing Body + Face Serum ($54)

A facial serum containing vitamins, carotenoids, micronutrients and essential fatty acids to help protect skin.

Such a pretty serum! I love the color. I’m not exactly sure what contributes to the red tone, I’m guessing the sweet cherry kernel oil? This serum can be used on the face or body and is intended to protect the skin from environmental stressors, brighten skin and improve radiance by delivery vitamins, minerals and nutrients to the lower skin. The sweet cherry, sweet almond and raspberry seed oils help combat signs of aging and alkanet root, arnica and linseed oils increase immunity and help hydrate. The addition of rose geranium, palmarosa and mandarin peel oil give the oil a subtle, yet sweet, uplifting and bright scent that’s intended to relieve anxiety and stress. It absorbs relatively well into skin, but I do notice a slight greasiness after it’s applied. I like that the ingredients are 100% natural and the fragrance comes only from essential oils. I’m curious to try this on my face but could see using it as a body oil too.

Wyldflower Labs Pink Tea Tree Gel ($11.99)

Natural salicylic acid, aha fruit acids, tea tree oil and organic cucumber extract suspended in a fast-acting, anti-blemish gel base.

This product is made for blemish prone skin to help fight acne. It helps regulate oil production and reduce acne causing bacteria for clearer and brighter skin. It’s a gel consistency that absorbs quickly into skin leaving no sticky residue behind. Because it’s made with tea tree oil it does have a unique scent but it’s not too over powering. I’m really intrigued to try this on my breakouts to see if it helps clear things up.

La Bloom Vegan Lash & Brow Serum ($25)

It helps restore lash folicles, giving them a boost of vitamins and minerals to help rejuvenate ate and improve their condition.

I’ve always wanted to try out a lash and brow serum to see if I can get things to fill in a little so this is a fun item to receive in this month’s box. This serum is made with all natural and organic ingredients including castor seed oil, argan oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin e oil, coconut oil and lavender essential oil. It uses a mascara wand applicator for quick and easy application to lashes and brows. It’s great since the consistency of the product is a little liquid-y so you can ensure the product gets put in the right place.

Nourish Beauty Box Review July 2019 – Final Thoughts

I love summer and I love summer skincare so this month’s Nourish Beauty Box is a fun one! I especially like the Cherry Rose + Nectar serum. Not only is it beautiful and would look great on my bathroom sink, but my skin could definitely use a little healing and protection from environmental stressors so I look forward to using it for sure. I’m also excited to try the lash and brow serum because after years of waxing I need some regrowth help! It’s nice in the summer to not wear as much makeup and let your skin breath so all the products included will help keep it healthy while it gets some air – and sun too!
