July Box Details

“We’ve long been intrigued by LHAMOUR’s founder, director and chief technologist, Khulan and had the opportunity to interview her on taking the road less traveled, particularly in the Mongolian beauty landscape. Let’s dive right into her extraordinary achievements and unique journey! : READ IT AT : NOURISHBEAUTYBOX.COM/BLOGS/ARTICLE”

Every month lately there has been a new featured brand that includes a bit of backstory on their blog. It’s so fun to discover new brands and products and the interview style blog posts give such a nice bit of behind the brand information to learn about. The brand originated in Mongolia and uses high quality, organic ingredients that are unique to Mongolia. They even work directly with local farmers and producers or harvest the ingredients themselves. I’d never heard of LHAMOUR so I’m excited that it’s this month’s Nourish Beauty Box featured brand!

Here’s a look at what was in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box ($104 Total Value):

Lhamour. Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil ($20)

“Plumps the skin and helps to repair lacklustre, flaky complexions. Use to rehydrate dry, itchy skin with its high content of essential fatty acids that prevent the skin from drying out, helping to keep it moist.”

This facial oil is made of simply 100% cold pressed flax seed oil. Talk about a simple ingredient list! The flax seed oil is sustainably grown and sourced in Mongolia. It is cold pressed without any heating mechanisms so that it’s incredible healing properties aren’t destroyed. Flax seed oil is high in omega-3’s so it helps plump and repair skin leaving it looking healthier and more revived. I love the idea of using a single oil on my face as that’s an easy way to know your skin’s reaction to that ingredient and I really could use some skin rejuvenation so I’m intrigued to try this one out.

Wyld Flower Labs Luminous Toning Spritz ($28)

“Helps to resurface the skin and minimize the appearance of large pores whilst being gentle enough for daily use.”

This toner is said to help gently exfoliate and resurface skin while also hydrating and firming. It’s made with organic aloe vera, willow bark and a unique vitamin complex (among a few other things) that help to nourish and turn over skin cells. It smells nice and light, a little like citrus and lavender. It also says there may be a hint of tingling or cooling sensation which would be so refreshing for the hot summer heat. This sounds perfect for layering under a lightweight moisturizer.

Seraphine Botanicals Mango + Pearl ($22)

“A highly pigmented radiance booster formulated with micronized luminizing pigments, natural mango fruit extract and jojoba seed oil to add a wash of color and luminosity whilst helping to keep skin hydrated and soft.”

This is such a pretty highlighter/bronzing powder. It’s the perfect summery shade of copper that would add a great hint of sun-kissed shimmer to cheekbones. It can be layered to be subtle or more intense, but either way the shimmer particles are small and blend well into skin. I think this would work well on any skin tone too. I just love copper for cosmetics colors so this is a great product to receive!

Lenus No. 10 Daytime Face Moisturizer With Natural Sunscreen ($34)

“Brightens, restores and renews the delicate skin around the eyes with evening primrose oil, vitamin e and coenzyme q10.”

I was just thinking how I needed to find a new daytime moisturizer with SPF in it and then this item showed up in this box this month. How perfect!? I’ve tried a few Lenus products before and love their thoughtfully crafted ingredient use so I’m sure this product will be a good one too. It’s made with raspberry, green tea and carrot seed oils to protect and tone the complexion. It’s said to be lightweight, have a smooth texture. I’m really looking forward to trying this one out.

Nourish Beauty Box Review July 2020 – Final Thoughts

I love that there were two unique brands in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box! It was a nice surprise to find one I’d heard of before (Lenus) and one I hadn’t (LHAMOUR). Of course the products from the familiar brands (Wyld Flower and Seraphine) are intriguing and great for summer too! If you’ve seen my previous reviews, you’ll remember that for the last several months I had been building a Nourish Beauty Lip Balm collection as one came in each recent box. This was the first month I didn’t receive one in a long time so perhaps there will be more and more new brands presented in it’s place? Either way, Nourish Beauty Box always keeps things consistent, yet interesting with their few recurrent brands and new surprises too. Like I mentioned, I really enjoy learning about and discovering new brands so I’m looking forward to see what next month’s featured brand is!
