June Box Details
“BEHIND THE BRAND Behind every inspiring brand, there is unwavering passion. We loved working with Lissette Monzon, founder of organic skincare and aromatherapy brand Lilly Be and see the amazing dedication and heart she puts into all her products. Let’s dive right into the interview: READ IT AT : NOURISHBEAUTYBOX.COM/BLOGS/ARTICLE”
I was glad to learn more about Lilly Be this month! I’ve used a few of their products before since they featured another essential oil perfume in their January box so I’m glad that they are finally featured brand this month providing more info to read about how they create their thoughtful and lovely products.
Here’s a look at what was in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box ($107 Total Value):
Nourish Naturals Lucid Glow In “Prunelle” ($16)
“A tinted liquid lip balm, made with vitamin-enriched shea and cocoa butters to help heal and soothe chapped, dry lips.”
I love the huge lipgloss collection I’m gathering through this subscription box! This is a really pretty neutral rose-like color that would help enhance a lips natural color. It sort of seems similar to a color that I received recently, but I’d have to go back and confirm for sure. Either way, since it’s a good neutral, never bad to have on hand.
Lilly Be Be Energized Perfume Oil ($20)
“An energizing blend that awakens the mind, combats fatigue and reduces mental stagnation with a rich peppermint aroma.”
I love this little perfume roll-on! It’s so cute in it’s bamboo container and it smells really nice. This one is heavily peppermint, but is unique from other energizing peppermint blends I’ve used before. It also has oils of rosemary, grapefruit and ginger to make it extra uplifting and help to slightly warm up the cooling peppermint scent. This one will be good to keep on hand and use to wake up each morning.
Wyld Flower Labs Biolumi Crème Serum ($35)
“A potent yet lightly textured blend of brightening organic papaya, pineapple fruit & leaf extracts into a smooth, vegan base of organic aloe vera juice, organic coconut oil & witch hazel.”
There were two item options to receive from Wyld Flower this month. I received the Biolumi Serum, but you could have also received the Omega Cleanse, an oil cleanser, instead. I don’t really use oil cleansers and I’m always looking for ways to brighten and smooth skin so this was probably the better pick for me. It says it’s intensively moisturizing, it has a really lightweight creamy texture, and it smells nice and herbal-fresh. The smell alone makes me want to try this one out right away!
Sahara Rose Divine Beauty Serum ($36)
“A multitasking blend of precious, skin soothing superfruit oils such as pomegranate, prickly pear, argan & jojoba to help provide relief to dry rough skin.”
I’ve eyed this brand before and have been curious about it so it’s fun to find this serum in this month’s box. Since there was another serum included, it would have been nice to find this a different month, but no biggie. It’s different in the composition since it’s oil based and the other is more aloe based so perhaps they could be used simultaneously. This one is also good for dry skin in need of hydration and smells really delightful – like a bright, uplifting, herbal floral aroma. I look forward to trying this one out!
Nourish Beauty Box Review June 2021 – Final Thoughts
I think this month’s Nourish Beauty Box was a fun one, even though there was a couple things that felt repetitive. The two face serums can be a bit much for me to test out all at once, but they both sound really nice so it’s ok and the lipgloss is still good to have on hand even if it seems like a similar color to one I recently received. I love the essential oil perfume and appreciate being introduced to new brands and products, so overall it’s still a great box this month!
