Oxford Momma Review April 2018
Oxford Momma is all about giving moms a box of “me” time. It’s like a friendly reminder to go have that bath, enjoy a new book, and connect with yourself again—and they’ll send everything you need in each box! They kindly sent us this box for review.
Oxford Momma is a brand new subscription box. They just started shipping and I think this might even be their first box.
Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the April box (we received this one a little late, probably due to the fact that we are located in Canada)…..
Peony Scented Soy Candle ($24)
An Oxford Momma exclusive! This candle throws the perfect amount of scent and burns upwards of 45 hours. Handmade, hand-poured, and crafted with clean burning soy wax.
First up we have a candle and I am always happy to receive a new candle. Truly, I can never have too many. I actually have this one sitting on my desk beside me as we speak. I can’t bring myself to burn it yet, but I have taken the lid off and the scent has filled my office. It’s the most lovely scent.
Himalayan Pink Salt Face Soap ($6)
Crafted by hand by Skin Foodie, this sea salt infused face soap is the perfect indulgence for your face and specifically created for sensitive skin. Use it on your face or body for more radiant skin.
Oh……this is fun! Not only is it pretty but it functional as well. Sea salt is a great product all around. I like that this particular soap can be used on your face and body.
Art Print & Postcard ($3)
An Oxford Momma exclusive! Each month we design a motivational art print. Pin it, frame it, or send it as a postcard to a friend.
This will be a regular item in the box and I love it. Inspirational quotes are perfect for decorating your space. Not to mention the fact that they are a great way to boost your spirits.

I have a feeling I am going to enjoy this book. This particular sentence from the description above stands out to me – Her writing invites us to believe in ourselves, to be brave and kind, to let go of the idea of perfection. These are the things I strive for on a daily basis but don’t always achieve. It can be hard to let go of the idea of perfection……especially in today’s world.
Oxford Momma Review April 2018 – Final Thoughts
What a lovely box. I never know what to expect when it comes to brand new subscription boxes but Oxford Momma has done a wonderful job. They have all their bases covered – pretty packing, reasonable price, product card and a nice mixture of items. I like the idea behind the box. It’s all about giving moms a box of “me time” and that is definitely something all moms need. I’m not a mom yet but I still appreciate this box. I like that it includes an uplifting book, a couple of pampering products and a gorgeous print. It’s not too much and it’s not too little……..Oxford Momma is just right!
