My first impression of Pet & People Parcel is awesome! I love how everything is wrapped individually. My hands started shaking like a kid at Christmas, just wanting to rip into every item to see what it was! I’ve said it before, packaging goes a long way and I love Pet & People Parcel’s approach to the packaging of their box.
Let’s see what’s inside!
I started with the “Live Plant” box, because how could you not. Inside was this beautiful, yet alien like looking air plant. I have seen air plants all over the place, but haven’t yet ventured into getting one myself, because let’s be honest, I killed a cactus once. My history with plants hasn’t been good, but hey, this one just needs air. I have air in my house! I think we’ll get along ok.
A cute home has also been provided for your air plant. A small mason jar and bag of rocks were wrapped together to form one of the parcels. So far I’m feeling pretty spoiled as the ‘People’ side of Pet & People Parcel.
Another parcel contained a small spray bottle to keep your air plant alive. Uh-oh. This might be beyond my skill set as a horticulturist. I gotta say though, this little plant is lookin’ pretty good and I promise to put in my best effort to keep it alive and healthy!
Now we get to the pet side of things. This treat resembled a burger patty, but very dried out. I was happy to see all natural ingredients, but now I’m all cautious around how dog treats are made. This one wigged me out a little bit. I’ll have to research Happy Howie’s to see if their processes of cooking the treats are pet friendly!
Love this chew toy! It looks like you can hide treats in it and it has a really great bounce to it! It’s also a great size for smaller dogs.
The second people gift is a little spice garden! Provided are three spice packets, Sweet Basil, Rosemary and Parsley. So cute! It’s about that time of year to start thinking about gardens and spice gardens are my favourite!
Pet & People Parcel March 2017 – Final Thoughts
I absolutely love the idea of a box that spoils both the pet and the human. The air plant was my favourite thing in the box by far! I feel pretty spoiled with that one. I have to say I wasn’t overly impressed with the pet products. Maybe that’s because I’m use to pet boxes that only spoil your pet. Pet & People Parcel are new to the box world and I think they are 100% on the right track with their ideas, packaging and thoughts! I would say there is some room for improvement on the quality of pet items. Given my first impressions thought I know they are up to the challenge and believe this box is going to go far! Stick around and watch this one, it’s going to be worth the time. I can feel it!
