I absolutely love to review Postmark’d Studio as it is one of the best stationery subscriptions on the market! I love sending snail mail, getting crafty and giving thoughtful cards.

My Postmark’d Studio PostBox arrived in a white mailer envelope with everything bound and packaged beautifully inside.

Anne (the owner) always includes a handmade card with a personal note – I feel so special every time I receive it. I love this month’s quote, “Whether sunrise or sunset it heralds a new opportunity to dream.”

Here’s a closer look at the August 2021 Postmark’d Studio PostBox…

Postmark’d Studio August “Sunrise Sunset” PostBox Edition 5.3

“As the summer days wane, I find myself making a little extra time to savour both the sunrises and sunsets. Take a few moments this month to wake a little early to enjoy the simple beauty of a sunrise or slow the end of your day to relish in the gorgeous colors of sunset. And while you’re at it, why not take a moment to send a handwritten note. Happy Mailing! -Anne”

Each Postmark’d Studio PostBox is so incredibly well-curated so I cannot wait to see what sort of Sunshine-themed magic Anne has included for this month’s PostBox. I am blessed to live in Alberta where our sunrises and sunsets are often breathtaking!

Forest Sunrise Card

“Quail Lane Press is a letterpress studio specializing in landscape art. Behind Quail Lane is husband and wife Michelle and Chip Snyder. Michelle conceives all the artwork and Chip is the pressman. They create and print all their original maps and multicolor landscapes in their studio just outside Portland, OR.”

This card is beautiful! It reminds me of when you spend some time in nature and glance up at the sky. I have just the person in mind to gift this card to. I am sure they will love it and most likely frame the print afterwards.

Summit Birthday Card

“Compass Paper Company located in Leland, Mi loves creating products that help you send your love out into the world. Annie is the owner and serious doer of all things for her business. After graduating from college and not wanting to end up in a cubicle editing photos, she found herself working for the National Outdoor Leadership School. During her stint at NOLS, she spent most of her free time drawing, writing down all the weird puns that came to her during long hours on the road and she finally started Compass Paper Co when that creative itch became too overwhelming not to scratch.”

I love the colours on this card and it will be perfect for an outdoor-loving friend of mine whose birthday is next month!

Thinking of You Card

“Helen Edna is a letterpress stationery studio that Lauren Rolph started in the summer of 2018 in Dana Point, CA. Her designs are joyful, organic, and finely hand-drawn with vibrant colors. Following graduation from college and working for a few years as an architect, Lauren realized that she missed working with her hands. After taking a printing class, she purchased a press and made the leap to start Helen Edna, which is named after her grandma who had a cheerful demeanor and a passion for craft.”

This card is so cool! I love the subtle ocean/lake sunset vibe that it has. This card will be sure to bring a smile to whoever you’re thinking about’s face.

Promise/Peace Postcard

“With a strong desire to pour almost two decades’ worth of letterpress and design experience into her own business, Debra Barclay started Ancora Letterpress in 2017. She has worked as a designer, press operator, educator, bindery, plate maker, and at the earliest in her journey, a student and intern. She approaches each project with the enthusiasm of her first one, yet she brings the entirety of her experience and knowledge to the table. She takes pride in the details because beauty and the handmade makes a lasting impression.”

I am already such a fan of ANCORA Letterpress. Her postcards are my favourite items to send as they are always well-designed and made, and the messages are always short and sweet. This message, “May every sunrise hold more promise and every sunset hold more peace” really resonates with me. This postcard might have to be put up in my classroom as a subtle reminder to keep hope and breathe.

Notepad & Pen

“Paper Parasol Press was born in 2009 but started a few years prior at the start of a long-distance relationship. What started as a correspondence between Chicago, IL and St. Pete, FL turned into a full-time business. Paper Parasol Press located in San Bruno, CA, is the creative work of Cindy Tomczyk. Her creative work is inspired by her Midwest roots while remaining true to the colors and energy of the West Coast. At Paper Parasol Press, they are fans of handwritten correspondence, human connections, and artful designs. And of course, with any notepad, a fun pen is always needed. The Le pen in amethyst is a perfect compliment.”

This notepad is awesome! I appreciate the reminder, “It’s a good day to be productive!” I also love the ‘bullet style’ lines as they leave space for creativity and details. This amethyst felt tip pen is also amazing and it writes so nicely! I can’t wait to send snail mail with this pen!

Artsy Doodad – 5 Wax Seals

“Set of 5 wax seals featuring the West Coast Wax Stamp from Artisaire + Sablewood Paper Co. Lavender wax from Artisaire. Wax seals created by me!”

These cute wax seals have a 3M sticker on the back so they can easily be attached to your mail! I love the sweet sunset on them and Anne made them herself! I also love the lavender wax colour!

“(4) Forever stamps that highlight the studying of the sun and its influence on space, a field of science known as heliophysics.”

The postage this month is so cool and almost holographic. Subscribers always receive enough postage to mail the cards in their monthly postbox.

Postmark’d Studio Review August 2021 – Final Thoughts

The August Postmark’d Studio PostBox is so well-curated and it fits the “Sunrise Sunset” theme perfectly! All of the items are beautiful, high-quality and unique, and would be so fun to send or receive in the mail. I think my favourite items are the Forest Sunrise Card and the Productivity Notepad and Pen, but as always, all of the items are awesome! Postmark’d Studio is a subscription that will keep you supplied with amazing and original greeting cards for every occasion. It’s the perfect box for stationery lovers and snail mail enthusiasts.
