Prims Way Review February 2017
Prims Way is a Monthly Jewelry Subscription Box of the Life of Prim. Prim is a young women that has always wanted to travel. Now that the opportunity has presented itself she wants to tell the world. Each month Prim will choose a selection of jewelry that goes with her story. Each box will have a piece of jewelry along with three other items that will tell her story during this time. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Prims Way is a brand new subscription box. I believe this may be their very first box, but I’m not 100% sure. When you sign up for a subscription you have four different options to choose from:
- Upscale Urban – She makes bold choices and doesn’t follow trends, with an innovative style that defines the pulse of fashion.
- Brilliant Bombshell – She has a sensational style, which is complemented with dazzling, bold choices, glitz and glamour.
- Boho Chic – She is full of adventure and a sense of wanderlust; she loves unique styles that represent her creative spirit.
- Class Act – She is chic and sophisticated, who prefers an Elegant and timeless style to complement her love for classic fashion.
Once you choose your style you are then able to choose your ring size. I wasn’t able to customize this review box so I’m not sure what style or size my box is.
Here’s a look at the items we received in the February Box:
Black Gold Ruby Ring
This is absolutely gorgeous but way too big for me. I think it might be size 7 or 8 and I am a size 5. I’m actually kind of sad because I would LOVE to wear it. It won’t even fit on my thumb. Regardless, it is a gorgeous ring. The black gold and ruby are stunning together.
World Market Strawberry & Champagne Dark Chocolate Bar
Having a World Market® Strawberry Champagne Chocolate Bar is sort of like being left alone with chocolate covered strawberries and a glass of bubbly. Rich chocolate, sweet fruit and the smooth aftertaste of champagne… what’s not to like? This bar is 64% Cacao, studded with bits of sweet spring strawberries for a combination not to be forgotten.
How unbelievably amazing does this chocolate bar sound! Oh my goodness, I want to eat it right now, really I do!
NV Candles Rose Soy Candle
I’m definitely sensing a theme here, and I think it is wonderful. This is a 100% soy candle and it smells very pretty. I never use to like the smell of roses but the scent has been growing on me the last couple years and now I really enjoy it.
Cuccio Colour Nail Polish in “Red Eye to Shanghai”
This professional nail lacquer is an industry first with patent-pending, enhanced triple-pigment technology for rich coverage in one coat and true coverage in two coats. The cushion based formula fills in nail imperfections, self-levels and quickly dries between coats. The lacquers are 100% toluene and DBP-free and have an ultra long-lasting, high shine polish with incredible wearability.
This color is absolutely gorgeous, it is perfect for the month of February and it matches the rest of the items in the box perfectly. Pretty red nails will compliment the beautiful ruby ring perfectly.
Queen of Hearts Print
I believe this is an item they include every month. This month’s print is titled “Queen of Hearts” and the information card says the following:
She has the mindset of a queen and the heart of a warrior. She is everything all at once and too much for anyone who doesn’t deserve her. She is you.
This quote speaks to my heart!
Prims Way Review February 2017 – Final Thoughts
I absolutely love my first Prims Way box and certainly wasn’t expecting to. I had a look on their website prior to the review and it certainly doesn’t do this subscription box justice. I think they did an absolutely wonderful job with this box, aside from the ring size. There’s a theme and a fun mixture of products that fit the theme perfectly. The box is pretty and girly and fun, all at the same time. I’m not sure if this is what it will look like every time, but I sure hope it is. I am very intrigued by this box and will definitely be keeping an eye on it. I would love to see them change their branding slightly because it gives an entirely different impression than that of the box itself. In regards to value, I’m not entirely sure where this box falls. My first impression is that it wouldn’t be considered a value box, but it is beautifully curated and overall I am very happy.
