- when you sign up for a subscription you get to fill out a scent profile which will in turn help them make recommendations specific to your preferences
- you will receive a perfume case with your first month, you will not receive one every month, but you can purchase additional cases on their website
- you can pre-select scents to receive each month by adding them to your fragrance queue
Here’s a look at the fragrance I received this month…..
Kate Spade Live Colourfully
Live Colorfully is for the woman who lights up every room she enters. The subtle notes of the fragrance—layered with a complex spectrum of bright florals, citrus, and musk—remind her to step into the world of color around her. The notes shift playfully throughout the day to delight and surprise. The key note of gardenia is at the heart of this uplifting fragrance, but it’s the unexpected mix of classic vanilla and musk, along with exotic touches of coconut water and tiarè flower, that lend Live Colorfully its complexity and lasting depth.
Bottled in a rainbow-hued prism and capped with a shiny lucite stopper in the shape of a bow, the sparkling, modern floral fragrance embodies Kate Spade New York’s penchant for bringing a hint of whimsy to the everyday.
Notes: Mandarin, Pink Water Lily, Star Anise, Golden Gardenia, Tiaré Flower, Coconut Water, Sheer Amber, Musk, Tahitian Vanilla.
Style: Sparkling. Modern. Whimsical.
Scentbird Review March 2018 – Final Thoughts
This month’s fragrance just happens to be by one of my favourite designers – Kate Spade. Who doesn’t love a good Kate Spade purse?! And who wouldn’t love a travel friendly perfume to match said purse?! They describe the scent as sparkling, modern and whimsical and now that I sit here and think about it, those three words are actually pretty perfect. I can pick up the floral scents, the amber and the musk. It will be a really nice fragrance for spring or anytime you feel like wearing something light as opposed to something heavy. Scentbird is a really great way to test out new fragrances every month. I love it because of the price point and the fact that it saves me a trip to the perfume counter. Oh, and don’t forget that they have expanded their product line and are now offering hand cream, body wash, body scrub and candles!! Sign me up for a candle subscription please! I would love a new Scentbird candle every month. Wouldn’t you??
