Scentwist Review August 2019

Scentwist is a monthly fragrance subscription box that allows you to choose from over 1000 authentic designer fragrances and receive a vial to your door every month. No more browsing through department stores and trying a million perfumes that end up blending together.

For $14.95 a month, you get a case on your first month to carry your vial, and a new one every 4 months, a vial with an original designer fragrance with 1.7 ml, and the possibility to try new scents each month without breaking your wallet.

When you sign up for Scentwist you choose the color of your case from 9 options. My first one was a beautiful copper color, my second one a stunning olive green and my third one a classic silver.

For July I received CK One by Calvin Klein. This is a fragrance that, like the CK Be, takes me back to my teenage years. I even own the original CK One but I remember smelling it on a ton of girls and guys, as it’s unisex and loving it. One is more fresh and light, for Summer and Spring whereas BE gives me more fall and winter vibes because it feels thicker and full.

CK One’s notes are: Bergamot, Cardamom, Fresh Pineapple, Papaya, Jasmine, Violet, Rose, Nutmeg, Musk. I tend to love scents with citrus even though I don’t know they’re in them, so when I read the notes for CK One it made sense why I love it so much.

It’s described as clean, pure and relaxed and that is exactly how I’d describe it. I am happy to add it to my collection and keep with me to apply lavishly for a whole month and longer!
