Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the September box….

Nicolas Mosse Napkins

Susan Mosse, the artist, is the creative force behind each original and distinctive pattern. The botanical artist takes inspiration from the hedgerows and wildflowers that surround her in the stunning countryside of Bennettsbridge and from her now famous Kilfane garden which is open to the public. Producing just one new pattern a year, Susan works in the peace and tranquility of her studio in Bennettsbridge. Pouring copious amounts of love and care into each design, she develops and works up her patterns using sketches.

These napkins are absolutely gorgeous, and I love that they wrapped them individually. It’s always nice to see such attention to detail.

Liz Christy Fridge Magnet Sheep “Bella”

Beautiful Irish Bella, a very cute LizzyC Sheep fridge magnet in a rich pinky red. Crafted by hand using wool which is dyed by hand at Swallow Studios.

Believe it or not, but I had a pet sheep when I was young. I grew up on a farm and had quite a few pets over the years. This adorable little magnet is bringing back memories.

Duffy Bookbinders Notebook

Now in their fourth generation in the Trade, Bookbinding is a Duffy family tradition. In the 1940’s, Paddy Duffy, grandfather of proprietors Tom and Pat Duffy, was bindery overseer for one of the city’s most famous publishers,
Alex Thom’s of Glasnevin. Paddy’s original Dollards Bookbinding apprenticeship was interrupted by his participation in the 1916 Rising with James Connolly’s Irish Citizen Army. He only completed on his return from Frongoch internment camp.

In their fourth generation of binders, Duffy’s have earned a reputation for quality workmanship that is respected throughout the industry. Their vast experience in the binding trade has led to requests to bind presentation books for Popes and Heads of State throughout the world.

I am always happy to receive notebooks, especially those that are high quality and unique such as this one.

The Donegal Natural Soap Company Shower Massage Bar

Not to be confused with a soap, this bar is a solid moisturiser made with Cocoa Butter (>70%), shea butter and coconut oil. It is designed to be used after showering. Massage the bar into your skin while still warm from the shower to enable the butters to nourish and condition your skin. After use, gently pat skin dry with a towel.

I’m so glad I took the time to read the product description. At first glance I assumed this was to be used in the shower when in fact it is to be used after the shower to moisturize your skin. I love that they included a beauty item.

Sealed With Irish Love Notelets

Sealed With Irish Love is a creation of creative Irish gifts and homeware for people looking for a flavour of Ireland in their homes. With a mixture of hand-drawn traditional Irish imagery combined with bold, geometric patterns; the designs provoke a reminder of Ireland past and present.

Sealed With Irish Love Review September 2017 – Final Thoughts

This is a gorgeous subscription that is thoughtfully curated and a pleasure to unbox. I love the attention to detail such as the logo’d shipping box, the thank you card, the inside packaging, and the quality items. It will be a wonderful box for those looking to add a bit of Ireland to their homes. I like that we received a mixture of items – housewares, stationery, bath & body, and decor. Sealed With Irish Love would make a wonderful gift for friends and family with an Irish heritage.
