See New Skincare box is my new obsession. This will be my third review and I have loved every single box so far. Each box introduces me to an awesome new skincare brand and it provides me with 4-5 products from their line meaning I usually end up with a complete skincare routine in one box. I absolutely love this idea and so far I have loved all the products I have tested. Especially the Skin Essence Organics Facial in a Jar from the February Box. It is SO good!

Aster Raine is brand I haven’t heard of before so I did a little snooping on their website and found this…. “Our products are plant-based, and our key ingredient is collagen extracted from plants.
Aster Raine customers are women of all skin types. Our typical customer is busy and stressed, maybe a little disappointed about life but happy to be alive. She cares about her skin.”
I couldn’t find an FAQ and since we are trying to conceive I want to make sure their products are pregnancy safe so I sent them a message via Instagram (just now) and will see if they get back to me before I finish the review.
UPDATE: They got back to me right away and said that the cleanser, serum and moisturizer are definitely pregnancy safe.
Firm & Glow Oil – Retails for $34
Firm & Glow Facial Oil is a lightweight oil that is great for all year long. Rose-hip seed oil is considered a “dry” oil because it doesn’t leave an oily finish on the face. Instead, it rapidly absorbs into the skin where the special fatty acids get to work calming irritated and out-of-balance skin. Rich with antioxidants like vitamin C, it is a fabulous oil for damaged and aging skin. Geranium is expert at repairing damaged tissue.
I looked this facial oil up on their website and it gets amazing reviews. I apply a face oil morning and evening so I was very happy to see this in the box. Rosehip oil is the main ingredient, which is one of my faves, and they say you can wear this alone or add it to your moisturizer.
Microbiome Face Cleanser – Retails for $18
Aster Raine Microbiome Face Cleanser for all skin types is an extra-gentle foaming gel cleanser that instantly cleans away everyday impurities and makeup without stripping the skin of essential moisture. Harsh cleansers that strip away everything and leave your skin tight do more harm than good. It weakens the skin barrier – which is the best moisturizer & shield you’re naturally born with.
I don’t have the best luck with cleansers and will often opt for water alone. But….I know how important a cleanser is for my skincare routine so I’m really hoping I will love this one. Bonus points for it being such a beautiful color!
Rejuvenating Cream – Retails for $35
Rejuvenating Cream, Beautiful lipids, and nutrients infuse this rich night cream with essentials for your sacred face and body. Suitable for all skin types.
I wish I would have taken a photo of the jar once I opened it because this cream is a beautiful orange color. I only recently added face cream to my skincare routine so this is much appreciated. They say to use it after you cleanse, tone and apply your serum.
Reverse Serum – Retails for $29
Reverse Serum has a wondrously light texture that soaks in quickly and is an absolute godsend for your skin. This intelligent formula is even more effective when paired with the Rejuvenating Cream.
Apparently this serum is also a beautiful orange color but I haven’t opened it yet to see for myself. You are to apply before your moisturizer and it has a really nice list of ingredients. The reviews say that it is good for sensitive skin and that it isn’t sticky like some serums.
Omni Scrub – Retails for $29
An effective and gentle anti-aging facial/body scrub to rid skin of dirt & dead skin build-up to make way for better ingredient absorption. Great for clean, clear, and clog-free feeling skin.
I love a good face scrub and tend to use one at least once a week. This one has a nice consistency and is apparently good for sensitive skin (according to reviews). I think this rounds out the box nicely.
See New Review May 2021 – Final Thoughts
Ahhh…..what a wonderful box! See New Skincare Box makes me so darn happy. I’ve really come to enjoy my nightly skincare routine as of late and am trying to treat it like a daily ritual. I sometimes light a candle and play music on Spotify. I get out all my products, in this case my cleanser, scrub, serum, moisturizer and oil, and I try to take my time. Its a little me-time at the end of each day and I LOVE that See New provides me with an entire skincare routine for said “me-time” in each box. It is a personal fave!
