Simply Beautiful Box is slowly but surely stealing my heart. Each season I come to appreciate this box more and more. I have also realized that some of my all-time favourite subscription box finds have been discovered in my Simply Beautiful Box deliveries. It’s at the top of my list when it comes to Canadian Subscription Boxes.

When you sign up for a Simply Beautiful Box subscription you can choose to pay monthly or every 3 months and each season you will receive a new box.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the Summer Simply Beautiful Box…..
Nena Skincare – Cleansing Cream, $16
Suitable for all skin types, this deeply purifying and moisturizing cleansing cream from Vancouver’s Nena Skincare helps remove environmental pollutants, makeup, and dead skin cells to reveal a glowing complexion. Enriched with natural botanical extracts and minerals from Glacial Oceanic Clay sourced in British Columbia, this luxurious cleanser will leave summer skin soft and fresh.
I don’t think we have received this brand before so I was excited to discover something new. I am also in a place where I feel comfortable testing out new skincare products which is something I shied away from in the past.
You simply apply to face with circular motions and rinse with warm water.
I Luv It – All-Natural Deodorant, Naturally Sensitive, $21.50
You’ve been asking us for a natural deodorant for awhile and we finally found one that we love! Unlike other products we’ve tried, Naturally Sensitive from I Luv It is impressively effective and long-lasting. Ingredients like coconut oil and arrowroot powder work hard to keep you feeling fresh while also nourishing your skin. And you can forget aluminum and chemicals. This formula is 100 percent natural.
Eeek! I was hoping to see this in the box. I received (and unboxed) my Extraordinary Man Box before reviewing my Simply Beautiful Box and the men received a similar version of this deodorant. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful branding and after creeping on their Instagram page I was hoping to receive a jar of my own. Us ladies received Naturally Sensitive Sweetheart which is baking soda free and vanilla scented. It smells absolutely lovely! I am excited to give this a try.
Maylie Jewellery – Maia Gemstone Necklace, $75
Designed in Vancouver, this gorgeous gem necklace from Maylie Jewellery will be your go-to summer accessory. The faceted labradorite adds sparkle and colour to a neutral outfit, but also acts like a chameleon, blending into a range of blue and green tones. Its oval stone is set horizontally, making it ideal for layering with longer necklaces, and its extender allows it be worn from a range of 16 to 18 inches.
We received the most beautiful earrings from this jewelry brand in the Summer 2019 Simply Beautiful Box and now we have a gorgeous necklace to pair with them. I love the gemstone and the fact that it’s not too big or too small.
Blush Peony – Wanderlust Insulated Bottle, $42
We all know the importance of drinking plenty of water, especially in the summer, and this pretty-in-pink double-insulated bottle from Blush Peony will keep you motivated to hydrate. Made from durable stainless steel, the Wanderlust bottle keeps drinks hot for up to 12 hours, cold for up to 24 hours, and features a protective matte coating for the perfect grip when you’re on the go. BPA-free. Hand wash only.
Can I just tell you how much I LOVE Blush Peony?! They have the most beautiful products and I have loved everything we have received from them…..this bottle included. I am loving the soft pink color. It’s just so darn pretty. I also really love the matte finish.
Evalina Beauty – Dew Beauty Benefit Cream, $44
Summertime means lighter makeup—and Vancouver-based Evalina Beauty’s signature product is ideal for the warmer months. Their Dew Beauty Benefit Cream is a multi-tasking powerhouse that provides sheer coverage and gives you that coveted ‘no makeup’ look. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, grapeseed oil and vitamin E help to hydrate skin for a naturally radiant look. Apply with a blending sponge or with your fingertips.
We usually receive a item from Evalina Beauty which means I have a wonderful collection of their beauty/makeup products. This season we received a benefit cream which I prefer over a foundation. It’s a more subtle look and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin.
Evalina Beauty – Flawless Face Blending Sponge, $20
The perfect companion to Evalina Beauty’s BB Cream, this must-have accessory is designed for effortless blending to give you an even distribution of product and a flawless finish. Whether you are using liquid, cream or powder the Flawless Face Blending Sponge lets you customize your coverage for perfect results every time. The bonus? It’s latex-free, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
How wonderful to receive a blending sponge for our new benefit cream! I just absolutely love it when subscription boxes include items that complement each other.
Lark and Ives – Card Purse, $50
Whether you received the olivine green, lavender fog, rose or caviar colour, we know you’ll love and use this sleek card purse from Vancouver’s Lark & Ives. Made of the highest quality vegan leather, it fits four to six cards, has space for money and receipts, and also features a ring for your keys. With its chic tassel detail and luxurious texture, we won’t be surprised if you start leaving your bulky purse at home.
How beautiful is this little card purse?! It was available in a few different colors and while I would have been happy with any of them there’s just something about this green color that I absolutely love! I am going to use this for all the extra cards that I don’t want to carry in my wallet. Membership cards, punch cards, etc….
Scentuals – Coconut Cocoa Butter Hand Repair Cream, $11.50
We’re going to safely assume you’ve used up all your hand cream by now, trying to restore moisture to your over-washed hands—so we wanted to make sure that you were restocked. This luxurious lotion from Scentuals both soothes and repairs, thanks to aloe, almond oil and more. Its light coconut scent will bring back memories of sunny, scenic escapes, while providing instant hydration.
This is hands down one of the best products I have discovered in my subscription boxes over the years. We received the Rosemary Mint version in the Fall 2019 Simply Beautiful Box and I am obsessed with it. I use it almost every day so I am more than happy to receive another one….this time in a scent perfect for the Summer months.
Simply Beautiful Box Review Summer 2020 – Final Thoughts
Simply Beautiful Box is exactly that….beautiful! I am absolutely thrilled with the Summer box. They did an amazing job curating the perfect mix of products, all of which are just as beautiful as the box itself. I love that they feature certain brands on a regular basis – Scentuals, Blush Peony and Evalina Beauty just to name a few. I am also very excited to discover a new brand – I Luv It. I really couldn’t ask for anything more. Simply Beautiful Box continues to be a favorite.
