Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the Winter Simply Beautiful Box…..
Blush Peony Storage Basket ($28)
This durable and chic storage tote from Blush Peony offers both form and function. Featuring built-in rope handles for easy carrying, it’s perfect for holding books, towels, cosmetics, children’s toys, remote controls, stationery or even your collection of Simply Beautiful Box magazines.
We start things off with a gorgeous home decor item. I am in the process of setting up the nursery so this will come in handy. I love having beautiful baskets displayed around the room as a way to keep blankets, toys and books organized.
Brockman’s Chocolates Crunchetti ($5)
We couldn’t let you go through the holiday season without some sweet treats and Brockman’s Chocolates makes some of our very favourites. We love their Crunchetti – irresistibly delicious chocolates, almond and rice-crisp clusters that are perfect to serve to guests or indulge in on your own.
No box would be complete without a sweet treat…..am I right?! In my personal opinion, every seasonal box should include chocolate. Here we have a bag of Crunchetti from Brockman’s. I’ve had these before and let me tell you…..they are to die for! They have three different flavours and I want them all!
Simply Beautiful Floral Notebook ($10)
‘Tis the season of to-do lists, so why not make tackling those chores a bit more pleasant? This lovely little notepad contains 50 lined sheets, giving you plenty of room to check off everything from work tasks to party plans and shopping lists.
Notepads and notebooks are a must in my house. I have them all over the place and use them often. I use them for work, task lists, packing lists, cleaning lists, grocery lists……you name it. I especially love it when they are pretty and fun to look at……like this one is.
Huna Revitalize Superfood Detox Mask ($74)
Formulated with organic ingredients like pomegranate and papaya, this detoxifying mask from Huna Skin will get out impurities and brighten your complexion. Incorporate it into your routine once or twice a week as a deep-cleansing treatment mask, or use it daily as a powder cleanser.
The value of this mask is crazy! Even though I don’t often use face masks I feel the need to try this one out, not only because it has amazing value, but also because of the brand and the ingredient list.
Riversol Daily Moisturizing Cream ($49)
Protect your skin this winter with Vancouver-based Riversol’s daily moisturizing cream. A potent blend of vitamins and antioxidants provide deep hydration and shield against moisture loss throughout the day.
I have heard amazing things about this skincare brand so I was really happy to see it in the box. I need to do a little more research on the ingredient list before testing it out, but it’s at the top of my to-do list.
Blush Peony Toque ($38)
Whether your received arctic grey or winter ivory, this adorably cozy, super-soft toque from Vancouver’s Blush Peony is the perfect accessory to get you through those cold winter days and nights. With its chunky knit details and fluffy faux-fur pompom, you’ll be warm, stylish and on trend all season long.
I may have squealed when I saw this gorgeous toque in the box. It was the first thing I saw as it was sitting right on top. I have been living in toques the last couple months and was really wanting to find a cute one with a pompom. It will be perfect for my daily walks, weekend hockey games at the rink, or just because.
Evalina Beauty Highlighter ($39)
Made in Canada, this gorgeous rose gold highlighter from Vancouver’s Evalina Beauty will give you that perfect holiday glow all year long. The water-based glaze includes moisturizing emollients to repair, protect and moisturize dry, damaged skin while providing the perfect shimmer.
We have received this brand a couple times in previous boxes and so far I have loved everything I have received. This particular product might be a little out of my comfort zone but it’s still beautiful.
Tru Earth Dryer Balls – Sadly these were missing from my box. I’m sure if I reach out to the Simply Beautiful Box team they will get them in the mail asap.
Simply Beautiful Box Review Winter 2019 – Final Thoughts
I mentioned this already but I have to say it again – I am in LOVE with the Winter Simply Beautiful Box. They nailed it this season and put together a beautiful box full of season-appropriate items. My favorite items are the toque, chocolate, basket and notepad. But with that being said I am also very happy with the skincare items – particularly the face cream. If you are looking for a Canadian Lifestyle Subscription Box, this is one that I would HIGHLY recommend.
