SinglesSwag Review February 2018

At SinglesSwag, they do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. They believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not her relationship status. They love to make women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Eeeek! It’s here! I’ve had my eye on this box for quite some time and we finally get to do our first review. SinglesSwag is a treat for yourself or a single you love. A fun, stylish monthly surprise designed exclusively for single women. They started shipping in 2016 but like I said, this is our first time reviewing it so let’s go over the details.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the February box…..

Spongelle Heart on a String Infused Buffer ($18)

This Valentine-themed body wash infused buffer will cleanse, moisturize, rejuvenate and restore every inch of your body. The product is dermatologist-tested, vegan friendly, cruelty-free and includes a hanging ribbon for easy storage.

Spongelle is my favourite. I heart Spongelle! I will never get sick of seeing these wonderful little infused sponges in my subscription boxes. I would love to have a stash of them. A drawer full would be absolutely wonderful. I try to have one in my shower at all times and the one I currently have in there is almost at the end of its life. We are off to a great start!

Beautaniq Beauty Radiant 5-pc Mask Set ($30)

Love and hydrate your skin with this brightening, youth-activating 5-pc mask set. Packed with botanical extracts, Vitamin C and antioxidants to reduce inflammation and leave behind a smooth complexion.

Next up we have a 5-pc mask set, the perfect way to pamper yourself. Don’t let the name fool you. SinglesSwag isn’t only for single ladies. It appears to be a perfect box for anyone who loves to pamper themselves and makes themselves feel special.

Bang Beauty Dolce Pink Cream ($22)

This lush, multi-use product can be used as a base-layer, blush or highlighter and applied to your eyes, lips and cheeks.

Ohhh……a multi-tasker! I love a good multi-tasking product, especially when it’s a gorgeous color such as this one is. This particular color has just a hint of orange and normally I wouldn’t be drawn to makeup with orange undertones but this one is just so darn pretty. Maybe I will set it aside and bring it out come Summer when my skin has a bit more of a warm tone to it.

Brownie Brittle Chocolate Chip ($6)

Indulge in this award-winning snack with a rich brownie taste and a cookie crunch. You’ll be amazed at how they squeeze so much chocolate goodness into a wafer-thin snack.

You can never go wrong with chocolate snacks……..never! I’m pretty sure this is something they include every month – snacks! Does anyone else love receiving sweet treats in subscription boxes as much as I do?

Executive Society Freedom Necklace ($68)

Love yourself with this chic 18k gold-plated interlocking triangle necklace. Triangles are often thought to symbolize feminine strength and freedom. The necklace features an 18″ chain and a 2″ extender.

Check out the value of this necklace! It’s more than the cost of the box itself. Which basically means we received all the other items for free! I’m starting love this box more and more as we go……

The Beauty Crop Lovable Nudes 4-pc Liquid Lipstick Set ($25)

Love your lips with this collection of creamy, long-wearing liquid lipsticks enriched with Shea Butter, and Vitamin E, providing comfortable wear for hours without caking, flaking or drying out. The set is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

They had me at vegan and cruelty-free. Not to mention the cute packaging, the gorgeous colours and the great formula. I quickly tested out one of the lippies while I was taking the photos and it went on easily, was very pigmented, added a bit of moisture and didn’t wear off right away.

How to Sew a Button: And Other Nifty Things Your Grandmother Knew ($16)

Practical and empowering, How to Sew a Button collects the treasured wisdom of hundreds of grandmas, as well as some modern-day experts, and shares more than a hundred step-by-step essential tips that will help you enjoy all the simple pleasures in life.

I’m starting to appreciate novelty books more and more. This one has a great title and sounds like something that will be a fun read. One of those books you could pick up and read a few pages here and there when you need some useful info and grandma wisdom. This is super cute!

SinglesSwag Review February 2018 – Final Thoughts

As I mentioned above, I’ve had my eye on this box for quite some time. I had a good feeling about it from day one. I often judge subscription boxes based on their branding and SinglesSwag has some of the best branding I’ve seen. I feel like you can tell a lot about a subscription box based on how they present themselves – logo, photos, social media pages, etc. Normally I don’t like to judge a book by its cover but when it comes to sub boxes I typically do, and until now I’ve rarely been wrong. SinglesSwag is just as good as I was hoping it would be. I love everything we received in the February box. I’m pretty sure this is going to become a new favourite.

XOXO
