SinglesSwag Review November 2018

SinglesSwag is a fun, stylish monthly surprise for amazing single women! They do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Elizabeth Stone Crescent Moon Necklace ($78)

Now this is something I would definitely wear!!! Wow, this just might be my favourite piece of jewelry from SinglesSwag yet. First of all, I love that it is gold, gold is definitely my preference. I also love the crescent moon shape, the meaning behind it and the fact that the focal piece itsn’t too dainty and it isn’t too big.

Talking As Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham ($16)

This New York Times bestselling book from Lauren Graham, the adored star of Gilmore Girls, Parenthood and more, brings together a collection of personal essays and stories about life, love and happiness. Plus, this updated edition contains a special bonus chapter.

This book is going to be a hit with subscribers. There are a lot of Gilmore Girls fans out there. And Lauren Graham will definitely put an interesting spin on things.

Kitsch Hair Tie Bracelet Set ($14)

These must-have accessories are sweet, simple, and easy to wear year-round. Kitsch hair ties are gentle on the hair and are the perfect addition to your ponytail or wrist.

Yes!! We use to receive these in subscription boxes all the time, and believe it or not, it’s one of my favourite hair products to receive. I was quite sad when sub boxes stopped including them and here they are, popping up in boxes again. These are the only ties I will use in my hair. I am very happy to have received some new ones.

Heart Eye Emoji Cookie ($4)

Heart yourself and indulge in this delicious shortbread cookie handmade in the USA.

Ok, how can you not help but LOVE this cookie!? It’s almost too fun to eat……almost.

Way of Will 07 Moisturizing Body Oil ($32)

I stopped using regular body lotion a few years ago and now I only use body oil. So it should come as no surprise that I am extremely happy to see this item in the box. It smells lovely and will be used daily.

Mollie Jacob Vivid Glo Palette ($36)

Every time I receive eyeshadow in a subscription box I hope for colors just like these ones. I have brown eyes, brown hair and fair skin and I just love the way mauve complements my skin and eye color. The two lighter shades will be perfect for highlighting or all over the lid, and the pink color will pair perfectly with the purple color when I want a more dramatic look.

Lauren B. Beauty Reparative Cuticle Oil Treatment ($22)

This custom blend of 14 ultra-pure plant and flower oils is designed to quickly hydrate your dry cuticles. The cuticle oil treatment is packed with amino-acids promoting healing and revival. Apply with the convenient dropper tip applicator so you can take as little or as much as you need – no mess.

Lastly we have a cuticle oil which is something I have with me at all times. I like to keep my nails moisturized so I will definitely get use out of this.

SinglesSwag Review November 2018 – Final Thoughts

The November SinglesSwag has great value, as per usual and some really fun products. Usually there’s one product that I’m not super excited about or that I end up gifting, but not this month. All of the items we received are perfect for me. Plus…..I’m going to be making an effort to read more over the next couple months and I’m really looking forward to diving in to this book. The cuticle oil is already in my purse, the hair ties and body oil will be used daily, the eyeshadow palette is gorgeous and full of colors I actually wear, the necklace fits my style preferences perfectly and the cookie…..well lets just say that even though I try to stay away from sugar I’m pretty sure I will end up eating it regardless. All in all this was a really great box!
