SinglesSwag Review October 2018

SinglesSwag is a fun, stylish monthly surprise designed exclusively for single women. They believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not her relationship status. They love to make women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them. They kindly sent us this box for review. 

If I had to choose just one box to receive each month, SinglesSwag would definitely be in the running. I love the curation and the price point. I love that we receive a little bit of everything and I love that we receive snacks! Is that weird? I love the snacks!

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the October SinglesSwag box….

Violet Harper Knot Bangle ($78)

This striking, elegant silver bangle will add a special “twist” to any look. Wear it alone or stack it with your other favourite pieces.

I like this piece more in person than I did in the spoiler photo. It has some weight to it, which I really like. I was worried it would be thin and it’s definitely not.

Nelson J Moisture Healing Hair Mask ($24)

This super nourishing mask is made with argon oil and designed to deeply hydrate hair, repair damage and smooth split ends. Whether you’re looking for a quick fix or to totally pamper your hair, this fabulous treatment will do the trick.

I have received this hair mask before and got a lot of use out of it. It detangles, controls frizz, seals split ends, and protects from chlorine. You can use it before swimming, as a quick treatment or a pre-wash treatment. I already have it in my shower.

NCLA Compact Mirror ($10)

Always remember to love yourself and be Your Own Kind of Beautiful with this sturdy, travel-friendly compact mirror that will slide easily into any bag or pocket.

This is one of those items I need in my purse but always forget to buy. It’s a handy little tool that is great to have on hand when out and about.

Byrd’s Toasted Pumpkin Cookies ($4)

Indulge in these delectable bite-sized, award-winning cookies made with all-natural ingredients and baked in small batches in Savannah, Georgia USA.

I was hoping for some sort of Fall inspired treat and here it is. I love that we received a pumpkin flavoured snack this month. I just wish we would have received one or two more fall worthy products to go with it.

Jules Kae Copper Clutch ($65)

This stylish, versatile bag can be carried as a clutch on a night out or slipped into your purse or tote for additional storage while you’re shopping or at work. Either way you’re sure to make a statement with this shiny, standout accessory.

I don’t see myself using this as a clutch but I will definitely use it as additional storage either in my purse or my work bag. It’s very pretty. It would also make a great gift.

Preheels Blister Prevention Spray ($15)

This hypoallergenic, dermatologist-approved, advanced blister prevention spray is designed to help protect your skin from friction. A favourite of the SinglesSwag team. Preheels is effective on any type of shoe, not just heels.

Blisters are never really something I have to deal with, but I love the idea of this product. It’s practical and will be absolutely perfect for any subscriber who wears heels on a regular basis.

Seraphine Botanicals Apple + Mint Lip Polish ($20)

This gentle lip exfoliant infused with avocado, mango butter and apricot oils will buff away dead skin cells to repair damaged lips, while providing long-lasting moisture. Vegan and 100% cruelty-free.

I like the idea of lip polish, especially this time of year. In fact……I used something similar last night before bed and was thinking I really should make it a regular treatment, maybe 2-3 times per week. I like that they included this.

SinglesSwag Review October 2018 – Final Thoughts

The October SinglesSwag has really great value and is full of useful products. Heel spray to prevent blusters, a mirror for my purse, an adorable clutch also for my purse, lip scrub to keep my lips soft as we head into winter, and a hair mask to nourish my hair. In addition to all the useful products we received they also included a seasonal treat which is making me pretty darn happy. The only thing I would change about the October box would be the inclusion of a couple Fall inspired products. I was really hoping for a fun Fall vibe, but other than that I’m extremely happy with what we received.
