The socks are a super soft blend of 85% Peruvian cotton, 10% nylon, and 5% spandex. I find the socks really comfortable and the perfect thickness. They are also durable due to the reinforced stitching. I have experienced no color bleeding or shrinkage of the socks with machine washing and drying. These socks fit me well without being too tight. I wear a size 6 shoe for reference.
Sock Panda designs its socks in Venice, California. They manufacture the socks in partnership with Indutexa S.A., a family run enterprise that prides itself on treating its workers well and is the top sock manufacturer in Lima, Peru.
The words “Sock Panda” are on each toe.
Sock Panda’s mission to give back is represented on the sock label by a cute panda and a turtle. “Give Back” is also on the bottom of each sock. To date, the company has donated over 136,000 pairs of socks to homeless shelters, low income senior centers, hospitals, and underprivileged classrooms across the country.
This is a closer look at the Sock Panda women’s two sock subscription. Generally the box includes a pair of socks with a unique print and a pair of socks that has a fun graphic.
The first pair of socks features a pastel pink and blue cloud pattern. I really like pastel shades and love how soft and pretty these socks are.
The second pair has a graphic of the Sock Panda being painted on a sock. How cute is this! This pair of socks is smaller than the usual sizing and has a shorter calf length. I thought it would be too small when I first saw it, but it actually fit me just fine.
Sock Panda Review December 2020 – Final Thoughts
My favorite pair this month is hands down the pastel clouds sock. It is just so pretty! I like the humor and cuteness of the second pair, but am not really loving the colors. If you are looking for some unique and eye-catching socks, then Sock Panda is worth a try! It’s great to get some fun socks while supporting a mission to give back.
