Let’s take a look inside…
Here’s a closer look at the items I received in this month’s SoulCraft Weave & Loom Project box:
Product Card
“Thank you So much for subscribing to the SoulCraft project box! I really hope you have as much fun making this project as I did creating it for you.”
I appreciate that SoulCraft identifies that they will send you a link via email to a Project Guide (to save the trees!) and another email that will link to a guided meditation.
SoulCraft Thai Red Curry Soup Recipe
“Here’s our recipe of the month, because you’ll probably be hungry after crafting!”
Each month SoulCraft sends subscribers their recipe of the month. This Thai Red Curry Soup sounds amazing! I cannot wait to prepare it on a rainy day that calls for soup.
Weave & Loom Project Guide
“Welcome to Weave & Loom! This PDF forms part of our weave & loom project guide. The video parts of the guide can be reached by following the links. Links to our video part of this project guide are contained in this PDF and you will also find them in your email.”
This month’s project is for The Weave & Loom Project. For non-subscribers, you can find it for purchase on their website as a one-time project. Subscribers will receive an e-mail with a password to access a PDF Project Guide. The Weave & Loom Project Guide was sent to our email with a special password and it was very easy to access. Within the guide are pictures and various embedded links that will take you to the process videos.
“Being Still” Guided Meditation
“Welcome to ‘Being Still’. Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and enjoy our guided meditation experience. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present, aware of where we are, engaged in what we are doing and not becoming distracted, reactive or overwhelmed by things going on around us. Our guided meditations are all secular and use evidence-based methodology for teaching mindfulness and enhancing awareness of experience. Recorded @ SoulCraft HQ in Ontario, Canada.”
This guided mindful meditation will help you to relax and unwind; such a cool idea. SoulCraft will send you an email with a password-protected guided meditation. I truly had a hard and heavy week, and I listened to this meditation and it helped immensely to ease my anxiety and provided comfort to me during this challenging time.
SoulCraft Hand-finished 4×6″ Loom
This Hand-finished loom is the star of the box! It is etched with ‘SoulCraft’ and is stunning. I can’t wait to craft with it!
Needle & Tiny Weaving Comb
This blue needle is so sweet. The perfect size to use with my hand-crafted loom! And this tiny weaving comb? I know it will be key to having my project turn out famously.
Tiny Scissors
“Just in case!”
I am obsessed with all of the tiny items in this box, but especially these tiny scissors. I feel like I am always looking for scissors to use so I am happy to receive these cute ones.
Four Lengths of Warp Thread & Four Sets of Yarns
“Use whichever yarns take your fancy. Enjoy! It’s your time!”
These are high-quality, beautiful yarns and I love their earthy tones.
Dowels
This Month’s Tiny Special Gift – SQUISH Gummies
“To complement our weave & loom’ project we’ve included some of our favourite candies from SQUISH because gummies are the perfect snack to accompany weaving (in our opinion). Founded in Montreal in 2014, SQUISH is North America’s first artisanal candy store that specializes in over 100 flavours of awesomely delicious gourmet gummies crafted from the highest quality ingredients.”
How did they know I LOVE candy and gummies?! SQUISH gummies are soo good, and I really enjoyed these. Another bright light in my dark week.
BONUS PROJECT – Woven Band with Toggle Clasp
“To celebrate the launch of our SoulCraft project boxes, we’ve included this little bonus for you! (Please refer to our PDF project guide for the video link). We’d LOVE to see your finished piece so please POST a picture of your weaving and don’t forget to TAG us!”
I am obsessed with this sweet little bonus project. Thanks, SoulCraft!
SoulCraft Weave & Loom Project Box – Final Thoughts
The first SoulCraft Project box included a guide, meditation and all the materials necessary to complete a weave & loom project, plus a delicious candy treat! SoulCraft will have you crafting up a storm in no time! I completely think this box is worth every penny and I am so impressed by its curation. I think SoulCraft has something so special going on here and truly, it will be so useful to aid in my self-care. I have just sat down to start crafting and it is truly a light in my heavy week. This SoulCraft Subscription is a perfect gift for yourself or anyone else who has wanted to get creative or carve out a special time to relax and take a moment.
