Spiffster Club Review February 2016 – Men’s Subscription Box

Spiffster Club is a new subscription box for ties, and now that I have someone in my life who wears ties on a regular basis, I’ve realized the importance/convenience of this kind of subscription. I compare it to a scarf or jewelry subscription box for us ladies……..who wouldn’t want to get a new scarf every month!

If you aren’t familiar with Spiffster Club it is a monthly membership service delivering premium handcrafted neckties. They offer ties at an affordable price so that anyone can build a stylish collection. This box was provided complimentary for review and may include affiliate links.

The Box: Spiffster Club

My first Spiffster Club package arrived in a nice little brown mailing box (first impression is everything) and it came with a February newsletter and a tip card showing us how to tie a Grandchester Knot.

Tie – I couldn’t find this tie on the Spiffster website but they have a “on-time shop” showcasing ties that I am assuming have been included in previous months. All the ties in their shop are priced around the $28 mark, which means we are getting a pretty amazing deal seeing as the monthly subscription is only $8.95. This isn’t my favourite tie, but that’s a personal preference, I prefer something with a little more flare. They do have some pretty nice options in their shop though, see the photos below (these are more my style).

Thoughts: Even though this tie wasn’t my favourite, I think the quality is great and the price point is amazing. I like that they include a tip sheet and a newsletter. I still need to figure out if they ship to Canada, and if so, how much the shipping costs are. Overall I think this is a great subscription for any guy who wears suits on a regular basis. The only thing I would maybe like to see is a subscription option for different styles – classic, colourful, modern, trendy, etc.

What do you think of Spiffster Club?
