Embroidery Kit by CozyBlue Handmade
Cozyblue embroidery kits include everything you need to create your own hand embroidered hoop. The pattern design is pre-printed on kona cotton fabric, so there’s no need for transferring or tracing. Just pop the fabric in the hoop, thread your needle, and start stitching! These make easy and wonderful gifts. Crafty friends, family, teachers, and co-workers will love them. Or treat yourself, and have fun stitching something awesome. Embroidery is a great way to slow down, get cozy, and get crafty.
What’s Inside: wooden hoop, needle, pre-printed fabric pattern, embroidery floss, stitching notes
Accessories
Here we have a couple of embroidery floss holders and the cutest little scissors. I’ve never done embroidery before but I am assuming you are to unravel the floss and put it on the holder so it doesn’t get tangled as you work on your pattern.
Lifestyle Product: Love + Leche Lotion Bar
I don’t know if this is a regular feature in the box, but it’s a fun one nonetheless. I love that they have included a lifestyle item. It adds an additional element of surprise to the box, and gives you something to use after your pattern is complete. It would be super fun if they included tea and a treat as well. Something to nibble on while you craft.
Swatch Box Stitch Review May 2017
Time to be honest…..I was not a fan of this box when I looked at it the first time. I wasn’t expecting to receive it, and didn’t even know what it was at first. It was an unexpected delivery, and I had absolutely no time to research the company prior to receiving it. But…..once I was able to get on their website, do some research and get myself acquainted with their subscription offerings I started to appreciate the box and am starting to fall in love with the idea. I’ve never done embroidery before, but I can see myself sitting down with a cup of tea one night and working on the pattern. I think I was also thrown off by the pattern itself this month, it’s not really my favourite. But once I was able to spend some time on their social media accounts I got a better feeling of the boxes they offer and absolutely LOVE the look of their June Stitch Box!! If you love stitching, knitting, and DIY projects I highly recommend you check Swatch Box out. I’m excited to see more from this subscription!
