Mommy & Me Subscription Boxes are one of my favourite kind of boxes to receive as of late. Not only is it a great gift for both me and baby Steven, but they usually provide me with useful baby items that I just haven’t had the time to go out and purchase myself. The Summer Sweet Peas Baby box is a great example of this. It includes some must-have products for Summer, all of which we will get a ton of use out of.

Headster Hat

For Baby: Caps from Headster that are funky & functional. (UPF 50. Keep your baby cool all summer long)

Eeek! How stinkin’ cute is this hat? I’ve been wanting to get a hat for baby Steven because we go for a walk every afternoon and I need something to keep the sun out of his eyes. I also really LOVE the style of this one. I actually saw an adorable little boy wearing the same one when I was at the coffee shop the other day and as soon as he walked in the door I said to myself…..that hat is CUTE, I need to get one for Steven.

Young Lux Bamboo Dinnerware

For Baby: Silicone Bibs or Bamboo Dinnerware from Young Lux (BPA free, Phthalates, Latex free. Great for outdoor picnics!)

Steven is almost at the point where I can give him a plate and a fork and let him feed himself (almost) so this arrived at the perfect time and I LOVE the pattern. I definitely need to check out the Young Lux website as I might have to order a few more dinnerware items.

Borrowed Planet Wet Bag

For Baby: Wet Bags from Borrowed Planet (Waterproof lining inside, perfect for travelling damp bathing suits or soiled clothing from the beach or pool)

Another practical item as we head into the Summer months. I was in need of a wet bag as we’ve had a few pool dates the last couple weeks and I quickly realized that I didn’t have anything to put Steven’s wet swimsuit in. Bonus points for the pattern because it is AWESOME!

Substance Matter Co. Natural Sunscreen

For Baby: Natural Suncare Creme from Substance Matter Co. (Safe for baby, no toxic chemicals)

I was very happy to see this natural sunscreen in the box because even though I already have one, I wanted to get a second one to keep in our pool/beach bag. I’m all about simplicity and I like to have things packed ahead of time. So……I am going to put together a beach bag complete with this sunscreen, the wet bag, the hat and Steven’s swimsuit.

Timi & Mila Outdoor Spray

For Mom: Outdoor Essential Spray from Timi & Mila (Keep the bugs away! All-natural, Deet-free)

This is absolutely perfect! I noticed the mosquitos the last few times we went for our walk in the afternoon and it made me think…..I really should get some sort of bug repellant. This one is especially great seeing as it is all-natural. Another wonderful addition to our beach bag.

HunnyB Skincare Lip Balm

For Mom: Luxurious Lip Balm from HunnyB Skincare (all-natural made from bees, handcrafted)

I love that they threw in this little goodie for Mom. I actually might keep this in our beach bag along with all the other items. I like to have lip balm with me at all times and I especiallly love a tinted balm. Something to give my lips just a hint of color.

Bonus Item: Sleep Easy Body Wash

I think this must be a bonus item as I didn’t see it on the product list when I was researching the Summer box.

Sweet Peas Baby Review Summer 2021

I absolutely love the Sweet Peas Baby Summer box and am extremely happy with each and every item. I love that they provided us with such cute but practical products, all of which are Summer essentials. The hat is definitely my favorite item this season but I also really love the wet bag and the dinnerware. The Summer box has provided me with all the goodies we need for Steven’s beach bag, and that makes me so darn happy. Sweet Peas Baby did an amazing job with this season’s box and it’s making me that much more excited for the Fall and Winter boxes!
