Terra Bella Box Review April 2017

Terra Bella Box is a monthly subscription box for natural beauty products that are handmade in small batches, by small businesses. They kindly sent us this box for review.

We have been reviewing Terra Bella for quite some time.  This box has been pretty consistent in the quality of items and has hit it out of the park on a few occasions!  Last month they focused on one brand of product.  Sarah wondered if this would be the theme going forward for this month, but it looks like they have gone back to their old custom of featuring a number of items from a number of different small businesses.

Meraki Botanicals – Toothpaste in Mint Clove
Made with vegan, organic ingredients – a natural alternative to the hard chemical store-bought toothpastes!

I am so excited about this!  I have slowly changed my life over to more organic and natural products, but I have yet to find a toothpaste I really like.  Umm… This has chocolate in it.  I think I’ll love it.  The smell is actually quite nice with a mint scent to it.  I’m pretty eager to try this and see if it works as well as it smells.

EcoSkin Naturals – Post Shave Gel
Made with 90% Aloe, 10% Essential Oils, this all natural gel is calming and cooling to prevent and treat razor bumps.  Perfect for both men and women.

When I first saw this item I thought it was just for men, but of course I can use this too!  My bath and shower routines have extended by quite a few minutes to make sure I am using all the wonderful products I’ve been receiving.  It looks like my post-shave time is now going to be extended.  Looking forward to seeing how this products performs.

Red Bird Natural Soap – Sunkissed Shampoo Bar
Made with rosemary, lavender, and tea tree essential oils, this soap has a fresh, clean scent.  Use it as a shampoo bar as it’s unique blend feels great on your scalp and truly cleans your hair.

I have always wanted to try a shampoo bar!  As a traveler and camper I always appreciate efficient and compact ways to bring along toiletries.  This shampoo bar is going to be a staple for me this summer during camping season.  Being all natural as well I won’t feel guilty if I have to wash the suds down into the earth or natural bodies of water.  Pretty excited over here.

Abbey Lane Farm – Solid Perfume in Spring Blossom
Set in a base of fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil and local beeswax, these soil perfumes are unique blends of pure essential oils & absolutes derived from earth’s botanical ingredients.  The Spring Blossom scent is a crisp, refreshing blend of bergamont, clary sage, neoli, ylang ylang and cedarwood.

I have never heard of a solid perfume.  This is what subscription boxes are all about, expanding your horizons on what is out there and creating new loves for you!  The scent of this is wonderful and I can see myself using this on the regular.  Perfumes are one of the harshest products on the market when it comes to chemicals.  Knowing this is made with coconut oil and beeswax I know that I’m putting safe ingredients on my skin and even moisturizing at the same time!

Terra Bella Box April 2017 – Final Thoughts

I will use every item in this box!  That is such a win, as there is often one or two items in a box I find I won’t use or am not a huge fan of the scent or ingredients.  This is not the case here.  The April Terra Bella Box is a hit out of the park for me.  Two of the products, the shampoo bar and organic toothpaste are so exciting to me!  These are items I’ve been looking for but wasn’t really sure how to start.  The other two, after shave gel and the organic perfume are items I wouldn’t normally buy, but have intrigued me and I feel excited to try something new!
