Unboxing the September 2024 Fantasy Box
I like reviewing adult boxes because they can really be a healthy way for couples to explore new levels of intimacy. Trying new things together can create moments that bring you even closer. What I especially liked about The Fantasy Box is that it’s so much more than new toys. It’s really about encouraging open communication and helping to strengthen emotional connections.
While I didn’t get a photo of it, the box arrived inside a plain brown kraft box very discreetly. The return address was an abbreviation “TFB” so they did a great job of protecting privacy. I think that’s an important consideration for adult boxes. I once received an adult box that had the very sexy brand name plastered ALL OVER the outside of it! I can only imagine the things delivery drivers see…
But, that definitely wasn’t the case with The Fantasy Box. I appreciated the discretion. Plus, packaging it in an outer box like that made opening the inner box so much more exciting! Here’s a closer look at what we received this month:
Open Me First: It starts with the gold “open me first” envelope. Already, I’m impressed. This really felt like something out of Fifty Shades of Grey – in a very classy way. Inside the envelope is a welcome card that gives a few suggestions for how to make the most of this experience with your partner.
Next, is an instructions card to explain how the experience works. You start by taking the sexy survey, set the date for your night together, dish the dirt (go through the surveys together), and then play!
The surveys are really thorough and include a variety of questions for each partner to answer about things like favorite types of foreplay, things you like, things you don’t like, and so much more. There are over 23 questions so it’s a great opportunity for couples to really think about what matters to them and share with their partner. I love that this is part of the experience – I think it’s such a great way to break the ice and start talking about things that you may haven’t ever considered before.
Then, there are two cards – one for the follower and one for the leader. Each person assumes a role and inside the card, there are instructions for your role. Again, The Fantasy Box has really taken all of the pressure off having to think through how this special night will go with the items inside the box. I think that’s freeing for some couples!
Lingerie: Next, is a beautiful tissue-wrapped surprise – a black satin, lace, and velour detailed nightie. I thought it was really pretty and could work for anyone – regardless of whether you’re more conservative or if you’re very comfortable in intimate wear. I found the selection to be very thoughtfully curated knowing that there are a wide range of people with various comfort levels ordering a box like this.
Blindfold: The eye mask was a double sided satin material, breathable, and included a stretchy strap. It was packaged nicely in a separate box and has tangle proof straps. One size fits all.
Feather: This little guy is intended to heighten the pleasure response through soft touch. It has a wrist strap too. I liked the black and red color palette – it’s giving spicy!
Ignite Massage Candle: Let the wick burn until a warm pool of oil forms, approximately 20 minutes. Extinguish flame and pour warm oil into the palm of your hand as you take your lover on an unforgettable romantic journey.
It’s definitely getting hot in here! This candle even has a little pour spout to make pouring less messy – how thoughtful! It smells really good too – it’s an Island Passion Berry blend so fruity and a little bit zesty. This is a pretty good size too – 6 ounces!
Sensation Wheel: Ideal for sensation play. Exciting pricks of pleasure. Petite size is ideal for travel.
I’ve gotta say, I’ve never seen anything like this before, but I do like that The Fantasy Box includes a well rounded mix of items to explore and try.

Simply Hybrid by Wicked Sensual Care is a clean and simple creamy hybrid lubricant enhanced with olive leaf extract. The hybrid is comprised of water and silicone and it’s latex friendly.
