The Furnish Subscription Box Review: The Fall 21 Modern Box

The Furnish Subscription Box is inspired by the refresh of a new season and curated by the Furnish by Isabey design team. Coming out twice a year in Spring & Fall.

The intention of the Furnish box is to curate your home by their designers with individual tastes in mind. Have the choice of either modern or farmhouse and receive a styled box to your door twice a year.

*They kindly sent us this box for review.

Just yesterday I had the pleasure of sharing The Furnish Subscription Box with you for the first time. I fell in love with this home decor subscription box immediately and am eagerly anticipating the launch of the Spring 2022 box. But for now, we are going to have a look at The Modern Fall 2021 box. They offered 2 boxes for Fall with this being the second one.

Subscription Details

The Furnish Subscription Box is open to Canadian Residents only. Shipping out mid-April and mid-October each year.

Aside from design, The Furnish Subscription Box has the mission of supporting women locally and globally. They have made a commitment to HER International, a Canadian Registered Charity that works to empower marginalized women and girls in Canada and Nepal, providing scholarships, school supplies, and leadership opportunities.

The intention of this box is to give, as a treat to yourself or another loved one, and to other women who don’t have the same luxuries that we do. Their commitment is to donate $20 for each box sold with the hopes to reach a substantial biannual donation to HER International.

Here’s a closer look at the The Fall 21 Modern Box….

Each season The Furnish Subscription Box will focus on a different area of your home. Here’s what they have to say about the Fall 2021 box…

“Every item in this box has been handpicked by our design team from brands we know, love and trust to create a unique centrepiece for your dining table. Please visit our website to see our Fall inspo edit on how we styled your tray.”

Black Wood Tray

Handcrafted in Squamish, BC by Warren & Wayne Wood Co. This amazing woodworking company’s intent is to preserve and emphasize the raw beauty of wood and transform it into a unique piece that will last for generations.

Black is one of the main decor colors in our new home so I was excited to see this tray in the box. It’s a timeless peice that I will get a ton of use out of. Whether I place it on our dining table, kitchen island or coffee table. I am so excited to decorate with this piece.

Round Glass & Leather Vase

Make any flowers or greenery stand out with this vase. The simple leather details make it easy to display on any modern dining table.

This beautiful vase is unlike anything I currently own. Come to think of it, I’m pretty sure I don’t yet have any decor pieces featuring leather detail. I actually really love it and might need to consider finding a few more peices with leather accents.

Wood Candle Holder

Carefully deisigned and handmade, these custom pieces are made with solid white oak. A luxurious addition to any home.

These wood candle holders are so simple but so classic. I will be able to use these as decor in a number of different locations around our home. I will definitely use them as part of a centre piece but I’m also thinking they would look great on the shelves beside our TV.

12″ Tapered Candle

This set of two smokeless, dripless, fragrance-free candles fits all standard taper holders.

They also sent us candles to go with the holders, which makes me very happy. I appreciate that they are fragrance-free because sometimes I like to have the look/ambiance of candles without the scent.

Modern Napkins

Coming in a set of four, these textured napkins will compliment any modern table setting.

I love the classic stripes and the neutral colors of these napkins. They fit with my decor scheme perfectly.

Leather Napkin Rings

Enhance your table setting with these leather napkin rings, adding a sophisticated touch to your dining table.

I don’t know how I have gone so long without cloth napkins and napkin rings. They are such a beautiful (and easy) way to add style to your table settings. I love these!

Salt Dish & Spoon

Timeless black marble bowl paired with a gold serving spoon to add that luxurious touch to your table.

I love the modern (but classic) style of this salt dish, and the adorable gold spoon is such a great way to serve salt. I might end up placing this beside the stove.

French Sea Salt

Sea salt from Nicolas Vahé, is made in France, and is the perfect pairing to your marble salt bowl.

It’s the small details I appreciate most, like the fact that they provided us with quality salt for our new salt dish. I love this!

They also included a little touch of greenery. Love this!

The Furnish Subscription Box Review – Final Thoughts

I am absolutely in love with both Fall boxes from The Furnish Subscription Box. I think they did an amazing job curating two unique collections specifically for your dining table. I’m trying to decide which box I love more, the Modern Box or the Modern Farm Box. Both include such beautiful pieces with the Modern Box featuring black and leather detail and the Farm Box featuring wood and wicker. Overall, I am very impressed and can’t wait to see what they have in store for the Spring collection.
