If it isn’t something that she would love or use, she will not be sending it out to her #TGR babes.
Here’s a closer look at the items I received in the Summer The Gift Refinery box…
Humble Potato Chips The Original Potato Chips ($4.99): Humble Potato Chips has introduced the Canadian snack food industry’s first certified organic potato chips packaged in certified plastic-free, compostable bags.
Snacks are an absolute must, and chips just happen to be my fave, so I was really happy to see these in the box. I will be sure to check out the Humble Potato Chip website to see what other flavours they have.
East 29th Verse Lotion Mist ($56): East 29th’s goal is to help with understanding the language of your skin. They realized their potential exploring the physical and mental health benefits associated with adding lemon rinds in various forms into their daily lives and the results created clear skin but, most importantly, boosted our mental clarity.
I love the idea of a lotion mist, it is SO perfect for the hot Summer months. A lightweight alternative to heavy moisturizers and so easy to apply.
Cool to Connect Classic Card Deck ($37): Cool To Connect is a lifestyle brand based out of Toronto, on a mission to make connection COOL! Their luxury products offer fun, innovative and modern ways to create more meaningful and impactful connections with yourself and others.
This card deck is absolutely beautiful! I love the colors and I love that it can be played with any number of guests. But….. I will probably end up using the cards for journal prompts.
Hello Sunday ORO Perfume Oil ($38): Thoughtfully blended with the signs of summer, Hello Sunday is a collection of handcrafted, botanical, organic skincare products inspired by favorite beach destinations from around the globe.
I love roll-on perfume oils and this one is SO lovely. The scent is very pretty and I should also point out….travel friendly and easy to apply.
Bathorium Pomelo Grove Bath Bomb ($12): In the summer of 2014 while travelling through Europe, bath-aficionado and soon-to-be Bathorium founder Gregory Macdonald ventured into an Airbnb accommodation on the coast of Italy. Greg discovered a claw bath set up with a living apothecary accessorised with rich clays, exotic salts, fresh vegetable butters, and essential oils. This decadent combination of pure and beneficial ingredients in the tub became the backbone of Bathorium products.
I have received this brand before and really do love their bath bombs. I am saving this one for my next spa night, maybe after a long day spent in the sun. It will be the perfect way to unwind.
Pokoloko Thick Stripe Towel ($35): Pokoloko curates unique high-quality artisanal goods from around the world, for the home and life of thoughtful consumers who like to collect and give beautiful and meaningful items.
This towel is so fun and much appreciated. I like to keep a couple of these in the car for impromptu beach visits, picnics….etc!
Lam Beverages Premium Instant Vietnamese Coffee ($24): It all started with a love for iced coffee… Lam Beverages launched on September 21st, 2020. After a year of meticulous planning and lots of sample testing, they curated the perfect and easy coffee solution for those with fast paced lifestyles.
I can’t wait to try this instant coffee. I saw a video of someone making it and it looks creamy and yummy…..no need to add anything but water!
Sann & Droves Sunglasses ($32): Customers will receive one of the following surprise sunglass styles/colours: Isla or Audrey in a surprise colour of Black, Tortoise Shell or Beige).
No Summer box would be complete without a pair of chic sunglasses (in my personal opinion). And I must say….I am SO happy that I received black!
The Gift Refinery Review Summer 2022 – Final Thoughts
I am so in love with the Summer The Gift Refinery box. I think they did a beautiful job and I LOVE that they embraced the season. The towel, sunglasses and lotion mist are perfect for the warm Summer months, but I also really love everything else we received – the coffee, chips, perfume…..ALL of it! This continues to be the first box I recommend anytime someone is looking for a gift. It is just so darn pretty!
