The Mantry Review October 2024

This is our first time reviewing The Mantry box and it was such a fun unboxing! For starters, the subscription arrives a wooden crate—what a fun, unique aesthetic, and I love the decor potential!

The Mantry Subscription Details

The Mantry is a bi-monthly subscription that costs $75/box plus $9.99 shipping to the US.

Mantry (The Modern Man’s Pantry) is a food-of-the-month club that helps you discover America’s best food products and what to do with it. Unboxing the October 2024 Mantry

The first featured product is Louisville Vegan Jerky in the Smoky Carolina BBQ flavor. In 2012, founder Stanley Chase III forgot to set a timer on his vegan manapua recipe and overcooked the bbq protein by mistake. This resulted in the first batch of vegan jerky. This flavor features authentic Carolina mustard BBQ in every bite, making it the sauciest, impossible-to-put-down meatless meat snack. 

The next premier product is Hatch Green Chile By Zia Green Chile Company. The Hatch Valley chile pepper is world-renowned for its distinct flavor, fleshy taste and unique nutritional value. Perfect for enchiladas, salads, dips, sandwiches, tortillas, burritos, soups, pork or beef stews and all other recipes, these Hatch chiles will surely enhance your favorite dishes!

This next product is hot enough it has a Scoville rating on the bottle. I can’t handle spice, but my husband really enjoyed the mild heat in this Hell Fire Detroit Cherry Bomb Hot Sauce. It has a smoky sweet flavor with a pleasant sting and rings in at 100–3,500 Scoville Units. It’s great for pairing with wings, pork chops, and eggs. 

The Organic Date Syrup from Just Date offers a sweeter ingredient that’s great for coffee, marinades, and more—plus it’s loaded with potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants. This is so yummy! I like to drizzle it over ice cream too. 

Next we have my favorite product from this month’s box—Outdoor Grilling Pizza Dough from Urban Slicer Pizza. This dough can make two 14” pizzas—just add water, your favorite toppings, and put it straight on the grates. I love pizza, and a good crust in the best part!

Lastly we have Super Greens Energy Tablets from 8Greens.  This pack includes 10 tablets in a natural Peach Tea Flavor. These tablets include 8 REAL greens PLUS Guarana, Yerba Mate and Coffeeberry—3 plant-based ingredients for a healthy boost of natural energy equivalent to one cup of coffee. These have really helped my brain fog, and I love the tea flavor!
