I was so excited to review November’s The Naked Beauty Box as I am finding their products so gentle and amazing for my skin!
The Naked Beauty Box arrives in beautiful floral packaging with leaves, lovely colors, and the phrases, “Love the skin you’re in” and “Beauty begins with you” written on the sides.
Let’s take a look inside:
The product card was a paper pamphlet with product photos, names, descriptions, and MRSP prices.
Nourish & Co Spot Treatment ($22)
“This powerhouse blend can be used to prevent blemishes or as a spot treatment to minimize current blemishes. Designed for convenience, this 10ml roller bottle can be stored in your bag, car, desk etc for those times you feel a blemish pop up.”
This spot treatment smells amazing. It contains tea tree oil which cleanses and purifies the skin & supports a healthy complexion as well as frankincense which reduces the appearance of skin imperfections and litsea which cleanses pores and its antimicrobial properties help prevent blemishes.
Plant Based Beauty Avocado and Algae Face Mask ($22)
“Instantly notice soft & clean skin from the nourishing superfoods of Avocado, Spirulina and Moringa that give your skin the vitamins it needs.”
This mask is so green! I can’t wait to use it when my skin is being finicky as it brightens the complexion, hydrates damaged skin, clears skin, soothes breakouts and calms redness.
The Speak Collective Cocoa + Calendula Lip Balm ($8)
“Provides instant relief to dry, cracked lips and leaves it nourished, soft and smooth with regular use. Packaged in a paper tube that’s better for you and the environment.”
This lip balm has some amazing ingredients including castor oil which acts as a moisturizing powerhouse to relieve dryness. It also contains calendula, known for its healing properties and cocoa butter which is rich in antioxidants. It smells delicious and works well to aid my chapped, winter lips.
Recherch’e Organics Pomegranate Enzyme Peel ($32)
“Our enzyme peel uses pomegranate ferment to “eat away” at the glue that binds old dying skin cells to the fresh new layers of skin underneath.”
My face stung a bit when I tried this peel out but rest assured, this is normal as it is the enzymes working to do their job! After a few days, my skin felt so soft – just like a baby’s bottom!
Midflower Binchōtan Charcoal Clarifying Black Mask x2 ($6 each)
“Binchotan Charcoal will remove toxins, dirt, and excess oil that build up on your skin.”
This is a repeat item from July’s The Naked Beauty Box but that’s okay as it is an amazing mask!
The November 2020 The Naked Beauty Box contained six full-size products and the estimated retail value of this box is $96! I am in love with the Nourish & Co Spot Treatment and the Speak Collective Lip Balm. I am familiar with a few of the brands included in the box this month as we have received a few brands in previous boxes, but there were still new brands that were fun to discover. I also like that all of the products included are clean which is so important to me. The Naked Beauty Box is the perfect subscription for someone who appreciates trying clean, cruelty-free, and vegan skincare products!
