I was so excited to review September’s The Naked Beauty Box as I really enjoy this subscription. I have been really trying to take care of my skin lately as it has been taking a beating with all this mask-wearing.
The Naked Beauty Box arrives in beautiful floral packaging with leaves, lovely colors, and the phrases, “Love the skin you’re in” and “Beauty begins with you” written on the sides. There was also a card with an empowering quote: “The bet protection a woman can have…is courage.”
Let’s take a look inside:
The product card was a paper pamphlet with product photos, names, descriptions, and MRSP prices.
Orglamix Turmeric Scrub + Mask ($29)
“An instant facial mask that invigorates skin and brightens appearance in minutes. Orglamix Turmeric Scrub & Mask fights acne, scars and instantly brightens dull, fatigued skin with the power of turmeric — to give your skin a fresh burst of luminosity.”
This mask contains golden turmeric and it is rich in antioxidants and calming compounds that can help to improve the look of surface redness and skin evenness. After use, my skin looks radiant and refreshed!
Wicked Good Nail + Cuticle Oil ($18)
“Put intense hydration at your fingertips. With its complex combination of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, Wicked Good Cuticle + Nail Oil boasts deeply-hydrating emollient properties. This oil helps your skin retain its moisture while strengthening. It softens with jojoba and coconut oils and protects with vitamin E.”
I am a huge fan of cuticle oil and this formula works fast and absorbs quickly.
No Cosmetics Retinol Serum ($36)
“The finest particularly well-tolerated Retinoid together with Phyto-Squalene, gentle oils and natural carrot extract helps to reduce wrinkles, nourishes the skin with vitamin A and supports a firm, youthful complexion.”
I’ve heard retinol is amazing for the skin and was excited to receive this one. My skin definitely seems to enjoy this serum!
Limese Brightening & Glow Up Mask ($3)
“Your one stop shop for all your masking needs. Enriched with a multitude of revitalizing natural ingredients, this charcoal mask ensures that nothing can be better than black.”
The packaging of this mask is gorgeous. I used this mask after a shower one day and it left my skin dewy and luminous.
Voesh Gloves ($5)
“Collagen gloves. Voesh UV protection collagen gloves brings innovation to manicure treatment. Each mask is pre-loaded with argan oil and collagen rich emulsion to penetrate and moisturize the skin.”
These gloves were such a treat for my dry hands thanks to all the added hand-washing and sanitizing I have been doing lately.
The September 2020 The Naked Beauty Box contained five full-size products and the estimated retail value of this box is $91! I am familiar with a few of the brands included in the box this month as we have received a few brands in previous boxes, but there were still new brands that were fun to discover. I also like that all of the products included are clean which is so important to me. My favourite items are the Orglamix Turmeric Mask and the Voesh Collagen gloves!. The Naked Beauty Box is the perfect subscription for someone who appreciates trying clean, cruelty-free, and vegan skincare products!
