Subscription Details
Travelista Box subscribers may choose between a seasonal or annual subscription. Each seasonal box costs CAD $99 plus $10 shipping across Canada. The box contains 5-8 travel lifestyle items such as home decor, clothing, accessories, jewellery, stationery, books, drinkware, food, and beverage.
Each Travelista Box is curated around a destination or theme, along with professionally curated travel tips and a destination guide. The travel destination for the Summer Box is Canada. As a Canadian, I love the destination selected! But I could be just a little (ok, maybe a lot) biased LOL.
Let’s take a closer look at what is in the box!
The box came with a folder containing the “travel documents”. I think this is the cutest presentation of a subscription box information booklet and just fits with the whole theme! In the folder is a card describing all the items included, the “We are the North: Canada Guide”, and a “Explore Niagara Falls” guide. In the Canada Guide are travel destination and restaurant recommendations, a recipe for Nanaimo bars (yum), and a Canadian word search puzzle. More on the Niagara Falls guide later.
Namasty Bijoux Amazonite Airplane Bracelet – $34.99
“This bracelet has amazonite beads along with a classic airplane charm. Specifically made for the Travelista Box and is handmade by Namasty Bijous. Located in Quebec, Cassandra’s items are inspired by her travels and adventures. We hope this bracelet goes with you on your travels, and brings you positive energy, as amazonite is said to contain.”
This is so pretty! I love the teal and blue colours, and the airplane charm is just adorable! I have worn this several times now, and it is just the cutest accent to my summer outfits.
The Scented Market ‘Oh Canada’ Soy Wax Candle – $16.99
“This candle is all-natural soy wax, and 100% renewable, and sustainable. The smell creates the perfect Canadian breakfast atmosphere – pancakes and maple syrup – delicious! Located in Guelph Ontario, owner Kristy makes all her candles in small batches by hand.”
I own a lot of candles, and love each and every one of them, but I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say this is my favourite one yet. The candle smells exactly like pancakes and maple syrup as described, the scent brings so much warmth and coziness to my home, and makes me want to go make myself some pancakes!
Games Room & Raincoast Books Travel Trivia Card Game – $24.99
“A wonderful way to pass time with family and friends at the cottage or home this summer. Test your travel trivia knowledge of the world. Provided by Canadian book and gift distributor Raincoast Books. Who doesn’t love trivia?!”
This is such fun! My husband and I love board games and trivia, and we used to meet up with friends for game nights or pub trivia. Can’t wait to try this game out with them when we get back to visiting each other soon.
Maple Leaf Fudge Maple & Chocolate Fudge – $8
“We could not make a Canadian box without some maple! Enjoy half a slab of maple and chocolate from this popular fudge store located in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. Freshly made daily in copper kettles with original recipes, these are their two most popular flavours.”
I love a good piece of fudge. Both of the flavours are equally delicious, I can see why they would be the most popular!
Renfro & Hot Sox Canada Themed Socks – $10
“As we know some parts of Canada can still have cold summer nights. We fell in love with these perfectly themed Canadian socks. Not too thick, and not too thin we hope these will be a great addition to your home or cottage.”
I love the moose on these socks! Can’t get more Canadian than that. These socks are so soft and comfortable, and they fit me perfectly.
The Great Canadian Bucket List Book by Robin Esrock – $25.99
“This book helps you discover over 150 of Canada’s best experiences and destinations. What better way to travel this summer than to explore our own country? We know this book will help you create your dream Canadian Bucket list with the help of Robin Esrock and Canadian publisher, Dundurn Press.”
My husband and I always talk about traveling more within Canada, and a book like this will be so helpful. We can’t wait to go through all the suggestions in this book and create our very own to-see list.
On the Eh Team Koozie – $11.99
“We thought we would put one extra gift in for you this month. With help from a local supplier, we created these koozies custom for our Canada box. How can you get more Canadian with a cold beverage in your hand for summer?”
We are having an unprecedented heat wave in Vancouver right now, and this koozie definitely came in handy with all the cold beverages I have been drinking all day.
Niagara Falls Tourism Canada Guide
“We have teamed up with Niagara Falls, Canada Tourism to bring you a guide showcasing what the region is all about. This guide includes information on where to go, what to see, history, a map of the area, and discounts on attractions worth over $100.”
A guide like this will be so useful when we make our trip out to visit the Falls. Love that Travelista Box included this!
Travelista Box Review Summer 2021 – Final Thoughts
Travelista Box really delivered again this time around! I love how everything is curated to fit so well with the chosen destination. The items really showcased things that are Canadian, and featured Canadian small businesses. I love the super helpful Canadian Bucket List book – even though I live in Canada, I really do not know much about the sights to see and things to do around here without spending the time to do some research. This book makes is so much easier! The bracelet is another favourite of mine in this box, as are the candle and fudge! For anyone who has a love for travel or just want to experience different destinations through a subscription box, Travelista Box is one to subscribe to. I can’t wait to see where the next box brings us.
