Travelista Box Review Winter 2021

Travelista Box is a travel-themed subscription box that delivers a box full of lifestyle items with a focus on a different experience or destination every season. All items are curated by a Certified Travel Consultant to create an around the globe experience as well as provide travel tips and inspiration.

They kindly sent us this box for review.

Subscription Details

Subscribers may choose between a seasonal or annual subscription. Each seasonal box costs CAD $99 plus $10 shipping across Canada with savings if opting for an annual subscription. Each box is curated around a travel destination or theme, and contains 5-8 travel lifestyle items such as home decor, clothing, accessories, jewellery, stationery, books, drinkware, food, and beverage.

Through this box, Travelista Box is inviting us to join them in escaping the freezing temperatures of the north for a tropical getaway. I’m all in for that! I am not a fan of the cold winter weather, and any chance I get to escape it is very welcome.

The Travelista Box team always takes great care in the packaging. Everything in the box is beautifully packaged and wrapped in tissue paper.

Let’s take a closer look at all the goodies!

The first thing you will see in the box is a little folder containing your “Travel Documents”. This folder contains a variety of booklets, including a travel guide and a product information leaflet. For me, opening and reading the travel guide is always half the fun of the unboxing. The travel guide contains professionally curated travel tips and a fun destination-themed puzzle.

IST Textile Turkish Hand-Woven Towel – $45

“Handmade in Turkey, this hand woven cotton Turkish towel is great for any beach day. It is easy to roll up, fast drying, and soft enough to lay on. We chose this very vibrant tropical mint colour to stand out at the beach, or give you some tropical inspiration right at home.”

Turkish towels are one of my favourite home decor items being how versatile they are. I use them as light throws in the warmer weather, and sometimes as beach towels. This towel in a gorgeous mint colour is a welcome addition to my collection!

FlightFud Flight Elixir – $32

“FlightFud is a Canadian women-owned company, who we are so proud to partner with. Knowing all of the things that happen to your body on a flight (cosmic radiation, dehydration, impaired circulation, and more), these women have designed an elixir to help with all of these issues.”

This flight elixir contains good for you ingredients like camu camu, coconut water, goji berries, and prebiotics. Sounds so intriguing and I am excited to try. To use, you simply mix one pack with 8-16 oz of water and shake to combine. Easy peasy!

Lolitas Candle Co. Lime Coconut Palm Candle – $15

“Hand-poured in Richmond, BC, Canada, this is the ultimate paradise vacation smell. We know this winter many of you love candles, and what better way to take you to the tropics, than with the scent of coconut, lime, and palm trees.”

This scent is selected to evoke the tropics, and they definitely delivered! Pair it with the included book for the best tropical getaway experience.

Flamingo Hanging Toiletry Bag – $17

“Pack your bags, flamingo style. Always a handy traveller’s item when you can fit all toiletry bath and body, and beauty products in one bag. Hang on the door, or in the shower on any vacation.”

I have been meaning to pick up a hanging bag such as this for my next trip, and now I have one! This bag is so spacious, and can easily fit the insane amount of skincare and makeup I always bring along.

Wash and Wear Bag – $19.95

“Perfect for any vacation when you need to separate your delicates, and bathing suits. We had this specifically designed for the Travelista Box choosing the fabric, and bag design ourselves.”

This two-sided bag with separate compartments labelled “wash” and “wear” is currently my most used item out of this box, but not exactly for fun vacation related items. I am actually using it for baby’s clothes in his diaper bag. The two compartments are perfect to separate out his new change of clothes from the soiled items.

Sous Shop Tropical Cookie Cutters – $8

“Enjoy baking, tropical style this season. Get creative, and enjoy some cookies while imagining you are on the beach.”

I don’t have much time for baking these days, but when I do, I will definitely make myself some cute tropical themed cookies with these!

Meet Me In Paradise by Libby Hubscher – $22

This is such a fun read perfect for this box! I really enjoyed following Marin along on her journey.

Travelista Box Review Winter 2021 – Final Thoughts

A tropical getaway is sadly not in the cards for us this winter, but I am really loving being able to travel vicariously through this box to a sunshine-filled beach. Everything fits the theme, from the tropical mint colour of the Turkish towel, to the coconut scented candle and flamingo patterned bag. Travelista Box is the perfect subscription for those who love to travel with each box transporting us to a brand new destination. I can’t wait to see where the next box brings us!
