This month’s Unplugged Book Box is very fun for me because I am familiar with all but one of the bookish goodies. Each bookish goodie is themed after a book, tv show, movie, etc….. I usually know a couple of them, but this month I am familiar with almost all of them and that makes me so excited.

A hint for December…..
Here’s a closer look at the November Adult Unplugged Book Box….
Charlie Brown Pancake Mix
These yummy pumpkin pancakes are some of Charlie’s favourites. He used the great pumpkin to create this special recipe by Deer Meadow Homestead, a shop local to NH, USA.
How stinkin’ cute is this pancake mix! Not only is it themed after a tv show we are ALL familiar with, but it’s also a very popular flavour for this time of year – pumpkin spice!
I’m saving this for a rainy (or snowy) weekend morning. Pair them with a big ol’ cup of coffee and a Hallmark Christmas movie and you have the makings for a pretty great day!
Boyfriend Material Candle
Oliver from Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hill quickly becomes known for his delicious French Toast. It is hugely because of Oliver’s encouragement that Luc achieves many goals throughout the story.
This is the only item I’m not familiar with but I feel like I should know what Boyfriend Material is. It know I’ve heard of it before, but just can’t quite remember exactly what it is. Either way, this candle is great. The scent is cinnamon french toast and it smells SO good!
Gilmore Girls Measuring Spoons
Sookie and Lorelai are a set of loving friends that always encourage one another to achieve their dreams. This encouragement leads to opening the Dragonfly Inn. These exclusive measuring spoons come straight from Sookie’s kitchen.
I LOVE Gilmore Girls and I LOVE these measuring spoons. This is something I use on a daily basis so not only are they fun, they are also very practical.
Cider Mix
Encourage yourself to stay hydrated and live in the moment with this yummy cider mix from Aspen Mulling.
This cider mix is burning back ALL the memories. My Mom used to get this for us at Christmas and it was one of my favorite treats. I am going to save this little single-serve packet for a day when I need a little happiness.
Little Woman Lotion Bar
Little Woman by Louisa May Alcott is a beautiful story of love, friendship, encouragement, and finding your path. This dark-roast, spice-scented lotion bar features a quote from Alcott’s classic tale and was made by Badger Face Beauty.
Awwwe….I feel like this box just keeps getting better and better. I watch Little Women every holiday season, usually more than once, so this lotion bar is making me happy. I also really love the logo and packaging. I’m a sucker for first impressions and this lotion bar jumped out at me the moment I saw it.
Game of Thrones Mug
Daenerys is a character from Game of Thrones by George RR Martin that goes through a huge transformation, hugely due to the encouragement of her advisers and those she learns to trust. This exclusive mug is the second in a 4 part collectible mug series.
Our last bookish goodie for the month and probably the best. I was just talking about Game of Thrones the other day and how much I miss watching it. And…..Daenerys was one of my favorite characters. This mug is the second one I have received in the series. I can’t wait to see what the other two are themed after.
Simmer Down by Sarah Smith
“In this finger-licking good rom-com, two is the perfect number of cooks in the kitchen.
Nikki DiMarco knew life wouldn’t be all sunshine and coconuts when she quit her dream job to help her mom serve up mouthwatering Filipino dishes to hungry beach goers, but she didn’t expect the Maui food truck scene to be so eat-or-be-eaten—or the competition to be so smoking hot.
But Tiva’s Filipina Kusina has faced bigger road bumps than the arrival of Callum James. Nikki doesn’t care how delectable the British food truck owner is—he rudely set up shop next to her coveted beach parking spot. He’s stealing her customers and fanning the flames of a public feud that makes her see sparks.
The solution? Let the upcoming Maui Food Festival decide their fate. Winner keeps the spot. Loser pounds sand. But the longer their rivalry simmers, the more Nikki starts to see a different side of Callum…a sweet, protective side. Is she brave enough to call a truce? Or will trusting Callum with her heart mean jumping from the frying pan into the fire?”
Unplugged Book Box Review November 2020 – Final Thoughts
The November Unplugged Book Box is one of their best to date! I am in love with ALL of the bookish goodies this month because almost all of them give me good vibes and bring back good memories. Most are themed after movies and/or tv shows I love, and on top of that, a couple of them are also very useful – the measuring spoons for example. I feel like I could go on and on about this month’s box. I could talk about my new coffee cup perfect for early morning coffee breaks, the pancake mix perfect for a cozy weekend breakfast date, or the cider which brings back all the good holiday memories. I love the November box…..it is giving me all the feels!
