I have really been enjoying my Vancity Boxes but I feel like I am still trying to figure them out. Each box I’ve received has been very different from the last, each one has it’s own feel, and there isn’t really a rhyme or reason to the items from month to month. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t really a bad thing, I just never really know what to expect each month.

Last month’s Vancity Box was my least favourite of the 3 I have received thus far, but that was just a personal preference, I’m sure some subscribers loved it. Therefore, I didn’t have any expectations for this month’s box. All I knew was that I would be receiving products from local shops/companies found in the Vancouver area. Let’s have a look…..
For Fox Sake Mug (Cedar & Stain) – This mug is has AWESOME written all over it! I’m very familiar with this company and am already a huge fan of theirs. This mug will be used a lot, and it already has a place in my “favourite mug cupboard”…….yes, that is a real thing.
Linquet – This is an interesting little gadget, and something I didn’t expect to see in my Vancity Box. You attach it to things you don’t want to lose (keys, wallet, bike, pet, etc). You then connect it to your phone via the Linnet app and when your item goes out of range you will be alerted.
Fingerprint Bookmark Band – I had NO clue what this was at first, and it didn’t come with any documentation, so I Google’d “silicone band with hand” and found out that it is a bookmark. It’s actually pretty genius because if you don’t finish the page you can use the hand to point to the spot where you ended.
Lemongrass Soap (Scrubs & Bubbles) – I’ve come across this shop on Instagram and have heard great things about them. I could smell the soap as soon as I opened the box, and it is divine. It has a few ingredients I’m not familiar with, but for the most part it is natural.
Mood Mist (Urban Body Organics) – I LOVE products like this. I received “Ease” and I’m not sure if other subscribers received a different mist, but I am very happy with this one. You spritz the air around you to reset your energy and freshen up your space……love, love, love.
Thoughts: Well, I definitely like this month’s box better than last month’s box. I think it’s due to the fact that we received such an AWESOME coffee mug (it is hilarious). I also love the soap and the spray, probably because I’m a huge fan of any sort of body product. The Linquet seemed a little out of place, but it’s still a great product, and I would have loved a little product card for the bookmark since I didn’t know what it was at first. Overall, I like this subscription box and would still recommend it. I would just like to see a bit more of a theme each month, and maybe a spoiler as to what the theme will be.
XOXO
