Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Review April 2017

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a vegan subscription box and the easiest way to discover cruelty-free beauty products without breaking your budget. Each month you’ll receive a delivery of 4-7 new products to try, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. They kindly sent us this box for review.

I have been LOVING my Vegan Cuts Beauty Boxes lately. I am very passionate about skincare….natural skincare that is. I feel very empowered now that I have the confidence to say no to the big name brands society tells us we “should” be using. I love forging my own path and creating my own beauty routine based on what I think is good for my body.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. Basically what I am saying is it’s very refreshing to discover subscription boxes that support a healthy life. That’s what Vegan Cuts is…..and I love them for it.

Here’s a look at the items we received this month:

The Granola Goat Face Mask

This face mask is one all around, fantastic, nourishing, pure, clean and glorious skin treatment! Among the elaborate list of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids in spirulina is gamma-linolenic acid. To use, place approximately 1 – 2 teaspoons of dry mask into a clean bowl. Add an equal amount of liquid, or adjust the amount to your preference and mix. Gently apply to clean skin. Leave for 10-20 minutes, depending on your skin’s needs (sensitive skin should avoid letting the mask completely dry) and rinse off.

I love a good face mask. They use to scare me, due to my sensitive skin, but now that I have discovered powder masks made with natural ingredients, I have not problem testing them out. My skin seems to respond well to them.

Naked Scrubs Body Scrub

Natural oil-based exfoliating scrub, leaves your skin renewed and mosturized.

This scrub is super simple and super fun. It contains sugar, mint, lime and oils. I have absolutely no problem using this on my skin…..no nasty ingredients found here!

Love Jivana Essential Oil Skin Treatment

Unique Tridosha balancing skin treatment essential oil blend to stimulate the senses and stabilize the mind.

I’m a little confused by this item. I fell like I need to do more research before I use it. I had a look on their website and it says to apply it to your face, but since the application is a roller, I’m not quite sure how to do that. I love the ingredients though, so I really want to use it.

Derma E Vitamin C Serum

Brighten skin and boost collagen health, minimizing the look of fine lines and wrinkles, using this serum concentrated with vitamin C, aloe vera and more.

I love a good vitamin C serum. I started using it a few years back and my skin responds very well to it. I particularly like to use it around my eyes.

PHB Ethical Beauty Lip Liner

PHB’s Organic Lip Crayons colour in lips with 100% pure, long lasting matte colour. Can be used as an all over lip colour or as lip liner. Our lip crayons are richly pigmented for rich, long lasting colour and enriched with a gentle nourishing formula of plant oils and waxes to keep lips soft. Glides on smoothly for fast, easy and accurate application.

I don’t wear lip color on a regular basis, but I do like to have a couple pretty shades on hand. This one is made with almond oil and vitamin E oil….two of my favourites.

Schmidt’s Deodorant

Award-winning formula naturally and effectively neutralizes odor. Plant-based powders help absorb wetness without the use of aluminum. Free of aluminum, propylene glycol, parabens & phthalates; no artificial fragrance.

Eeek!!! I was hoping to see this in the box this month. I am in serious need of a good natural deodorant. I was using a regular deodorant and the smell was making me sick. It’s hard to find a natural deodorant that actually works so I have high hopes for this one. I am LOVING the scent. The rose/vanilla combo is really pretty.

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Review April 2017 – Final Thoughts

This month’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is lovely. We received six items and it was a pleasure to unbox. I had fun researching the different products and am most excited about the deodorant. These are the kind of items I get really excited about. Each time I discover a new cruelty-free beauty product I get rid of one of my “regular” beauty products. It’s been a slow process but I am almost there. Thanks to subscription boxes like this one, my beauty drawer and makeup bag are looking pretty darn good. Vegan Cuts makes me very happy…..period.

XOXO
