Vegancuts Beauty Box Review July 2019

Vegancuts makes it simple to discover the best vegan products. Their experts search every corner of the cruelty-free world to uncover new vegan brands and meticulously review and select products that they can stand behind. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Wow, it has been a LONG time since I had the opportunity to review Vegancuts so I’m pretty darn excited to be featuring it on the blog today. Vegancuts is one of the original vegan subscription boxes. I’ve been following them for quite some time and what’s even more exciting is they just launched their new website, along with a small rebrand. They changed the name slightly and have a new look and feel.

Here’s a closer look at the July Vegancuts Beauty Box….

The Cottage Greenhouse Carrot & Neroli Handcreme ($24)

Thick, rich, and positively addicting. Your skin will thank you! Dynamic Duo Avocado Oil & Shea Butter provide the base to our luxurious handcreme. Add to this natural emollients Jojoba & Carrot Oils, and you have our irresistible botanic balm that absorbs quickly, soothing even the most demanding dry skin. You are left refreshed and marvelously moisturized.

I’ve been paying more attention to my hands as of late – manicures, pretty polish, healthy cuticles, etc…. And a quality hand lotion is part of my new hand care routine. I will keep this one beside my bed as I like to moisturize my hands before bed.

ULiv Skincare Golden Glow Oil Cleanser ($10)

A perfect way to start the day, Golden Glow oil cleanser! Refreshing! Brightening! Purifying! With organic fennel, turmeric, ginger & black seed!

I love the idea of an oil cleanser. I moisturize my face with oil so why not cleanse it with oil as well.

Directions: 3-4 pumps into hands and gently massage onto face. Let your Uliv oil cleanser sit on skin for a few minutes while it loosens debris, purifies pores, and brightens skin. Wash off with warm water and soft washcloth. Enjoy your fresh clean skin! Follow with Uliv Golden Glow hydrating serum and Uliv Golden Glow facial souffle.

Delia Organics Wake Up Moisturizing Lotion ($13.50)

Pamper your skin with this moisturizing toner. Gently tones the skin without over drying. Great for all skin types. Your skin will have a more even complexion, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and beautiful glowing skin. Great for after workouts in gym bags when you can’t wash your face.

The consistency of this moisturizing lotion almost looks like a gel. I definitely prefer an oil-based moisturizer but I might still give it a try.

Eco Lips Lip & Cheek Tint ($8.99)

Looking for a subtle pop of color without the additives? Our multi-tasking vegan beauty balm has a smooth lightweight formula that delivers natural color to lips and cheeks while imparting a soft, smooth finish. Organic jojoba, coconut oil and organic Fair Trade Certified™ cocoa butter moisturize and protect while leaving behind a fresh hibiscus scent. Made with non-toxic earth minerals, our Nude Lip + Cheek Tint works with many skin tones. Simply apply to cheeks and blend with pads of your fingers.

Multitasking products are my favorite. I prefer to have fewer items in my makeup bag and this lip/cheek tint will allow me to do just that. I love the natural ingredients and the understated neutral/bronze shade. It also smells really good.

AG Hair Dry Lift Texture & Volume Paste ($8.95)

Formulated with over 96% plant-based and naturally-derived ingredients, AG’s Dry Lift instantly adds grit, volume and texture. Kaolin clay and volcanic ash absorb excess oil, creating a thickening effect on the hair, adding body and allowing hair to be styled and manipulated. AG’s exclusive blend of rosemary, lemon, lime, geranium and lavender essential oils provide natural fragrance. Ideal for refreshing second day hair and creating updos.

Believe it or not, I’m making an effort to style my hair more often. Typically I let it air dry, put curlers in and head out the door. I don’t use any hair products…..or at least I didn’t until a few weeks ago. So this texture paste arrived at the perfect time. I have straight, soft hair that doesn’t like to hold style so I need something to add a little grit and texture.

Vegancuts Beauty Box Review July 2019 – Final Thoughts

For those of you who are new to my reviews, I should point out that I have been vegan for 8 or 9 years (I lost track). I’m not super strict with my vegan lifestyle as I do it mostly for healthy reasons but I try to stick to it 95% of the time. Therefore, a box like Vegancuts is absolutely perfect for me. I’m so happy to be reviewing it again because it’s such a wonderful box. It’s reasonably priced, I like the mixture of items we receive and I get to discover new vegan-friendly brands. What’s not to love?
